Prime Products 08-0917 12 V 25' Extension Cord

Use this to get power to our 12 volt pump to blow up air mattresses in the tent. Our queen double high is a super tight squeeze to get through the tent door once it is blown up. This was the answer to avoid ripping the tent. There is some power loss to the pump because of the length of the cord but not much. (as expected)

This cord is awesome. It is never further away from the tyre inflating thingo than its length, and both their resting space is a secure spot in the car's trunk/boot. The cord's length is just right to allow the inflator to be safely connected to the car's battery on the one end, and to the tyre in need of air at the other end, without having to drag whatever the contraption in need of said air out of the garage and schlep it to the driveway, or without having the bring the car into the garage and inhale the stinky exhaust fumes while the battery runs the inflator.

This little guy has issues with power getting to its destination without attenuated results. But for my needs it is perfect. I can fill up my oversized air mattress of comfort INSIDE my tent. This is perfect for my needs.

The cord is "OK". It powers my portable 12 volt TV, rated at 18 watts, with a 4/10 of a volt power loss, but still works. As 18 gauge wire, I wouldn't expect to use it for more than small electronics, probably won't work too well with a compressor or spotlight without a higher voltage loss.

Haven't used this extension yet, but it appears to be well made. I bought it to give me a connection long enough to get from the power plugs in my truck to the tires on my utility trailer. Couldn't do that with the length of cord on my electric jack/impact wrench. It was inexpensive and if I have to use it,I'm sure I'll be glad I bought it.

Purchased this so I could recharge my remote control plane batteries, while flying at the airstrip. Works like a charm. I run it from the front of the truck (4x4, 4 door), through the back window, into the bed, and onto the tailgate, where it goes to a splitter, and allows me to charge multiple batteries at once. I keep it in a large kit with all my gear, and it's invaluable.

Ordered this after a camping trip in March. It was intended to use primarily to blow up air mattresses to save us from having to drag them back and forth from the car to the tent. Went to use it on a trip in mid-July. It did not work at all, ever, totally dead. We got home and tested it with an Ohm meter. There was no end-to-end continuity. Wires never connected or connected improperly. Not a complex thing to connect wires to the plug ends so obviously very shoddy workmanship and clearly never tested by the manufacturer before sold. By the time we discovered the item was defective, the return/refund window was closed. I looked for awhile to see if I could find contact info for the company to give them a chance to make amends, but none was available so here's my review.

This is a great extension cord for cigarette lighter socket connections. I can't always get my bike close enough to the air mattress in the wagon to use the inflator with its own cord, so I attach it to this extension cord and plug that into the bike's 12 volt power port. Gypsy approved!
