This vase is small but pretty. It is solid wood with a nice natural grain pattern. I placed this vase on the bottom shelf of my glass coffee table in a little cluster of vases, all of which are made out of natural materials, and this vase blends in nicely with the others. You can see in my photos that this vase is a lovely golden color and the grain patterns are noticable but not as exaggerated and obvious as they are on the larger vase. The opening at the top of this vase is also fairly small; it is a little less than a half inch in diameter. The opening is drilled down about 5 inches deep (the entire vase is not hollowed out) and there is no glass sleeve inside to protect the wood from water, so this vase isn't appropriate for holding fresh flowers or anything with a long stem. I am using it simply as a decor piece and I love the warm, natural wood element it adds to my room.

This vase is cute, but a lot smaller than I anticipated. As you can see for reference in the picture, it’s just a bit shorter than my mechanical pencil. The wood material itself seems sturdy, and pretty good in weight despite its small size. It could make a cute little accent piece on a serving tray, but if you’re looking for something bigger, this is not it.
