It is a little thick and must be completely rubbed in or it will leave white residue. But it does protect using minerals.

This was definitely the cheapest mineral sunscreen I can find. I was a bit apprehensive about it given other reviews about it leaving a white cast. It certainly does when first applied, but I found the white cast mostly disappears after a few minutes. I don’t think anyone but myself notices any lingering white cast. I don’t have fair skin so I’m sure that definitely helps. The consistently is sticky, but once again, give it a few minutes and it it’ll feel weightless. The consistency does make it difficult to rub in, and spread throughout the face, though, so I think a downside of this product is that I have to tug on my skin more than I would like. Overall, I like this sunscreen, and would purchase it again. It’s great for outdoor activities like hiking or a day at the beach. I still use a tinted sunscreen when I need to worry about my appearance, but this product is perfect for casual day especially given the price point compared to other options.

Nice and thick does not feel oily though nor does it make me break out. I do however prefer to put it on right after I shower because it is when it best blends in otherwise if my skin is dry it would leave a White residue so you have to blend it in. This was recommended to me by my dermatologist and I really like it I will definitely be buying more when this is depleted.

I was suppose to get a pack of 3 but only got 1 bottle and I paid $50 for this sunscreen that does not absorb and will leave white residue all over your body. I bought this for my daughter who plays soccer and did not feel it protects from the sun.

Significant white cast after application, requires patience to apply, must constantly rub product into skin for minutes at a time, decent sun protection, however. Not a "sheer" zinc oxide product, but then again, no zinc oxide sunblock product with at least 20% zinc oxide will ever be "sheer".

This is fantastic. It rubs in better than the other Neutrogena baby sunscreen and doesn't have any of the extra cancer-causing crap that is in basically all the other neutrogena sunscreens. I'm so glad this one exists - sunscreen is an interesting thing - the propaganda is to use it to prevent skin cancer, but most of them are full of ingredients that if researched, are very well known to CAUSE cancer. This one isn't - zinc oxide is a safe one that doesn't pass through the skin. Thanks Neutrogena!

Using mineral sunblock rather than chemical sunscreens is so important for your health and the environment. This is my favorite mineral sunblock, but be aware that it will be thicker than the chemical junk, and if you wear it all over your body every day for a week straight, you might start feeling like your skin is dry because zinc and titanium oxide are natural astringents.
