This is great fun for the whole family to play. My 5 year old loves it. 3 years old is probably the youngest that would be able to play easily. We quickly went through 10-20 cars each time we played, so I'm glad we got the indoor and outdoor pack. Many of the outdoor cards can easily be used to play indoors, and are not specific to outside things.

My 7 yr old grandson found it super boring - too easy. My 4 yr old grandniece had no interest / maybe found it a little too challenging. Every child is different.
