Redmond Real Sea Salt (1 Pack)

I've used a lot of different salts over the years—basic table salt, kosher salt, even fancy pink Himalayan—but Redmond Real Salt is genuinely my favorite. I was skeptical at first, but the difference in taste and quality is noticeable. The first thing you'll notice is the flavor. It has a subtle, almost sweet taste to it that enhances the food without just making it "salty." It really does seem to bring out the natural flavors in meats and vegetables. The biggest selling point for me is that it's completely unrefined. It's mined from an ancient seabed in Utah, so it's free from modern pollutants and doesn't have any of the anti-caking agents or other additives you find in regular table salt. Instead, it's packed with over 60 trace minerals, which you can actually see in the salt's light pinkish, speckled color. This "Fine" grain version is perfect for everyday use. It works great in shakers, for baking, and for all-around cooking. I use it for everything, from seasoning steaks to salting my pasta water. Some people prefer to use it as a "finishing salt" to appreciate its texture, but I use it for all my cooking. We love this salt. We get it in this two pack because it seems to be the best price for the quantity. It is in an easy pour package which is nice. It is super high quality. I would mention that it is true, from-the-ground salt. With that said, sometimes there are teeny tiny hard pieces. 99.999% of the time it isn't noticeable at all. But I don't use this salt when making something that is very soft (like deviled eggs) because you might get a hard piece and people think it's a piece of a shell. Deviled eggs are the only foods that I choose a different salt for. If you don't make deviled eggs, or other very soft foods then disregard what I said. But this salt on/in literally everything else is superb and I would give a higher rating if I could. I use it in my homemade seasoned salt, homemade hot cocoa mix, on pizza, in all my baking and breads, literally everything. I use it daily. I know that there are other natural minerals and such in it, which is cool, but the taste is amazing. Love!

I really like this salt. It has a balanced taste that brings out the flavor in food without being overly salty. The texture is fine enough to mix easily into recipes but still has a nice, slightly coarse feel compared to regular table salt. I like that it comes in a resealable pouch, which keeps it fresh and easy to store. You get a good amount for the price, and the two-pack lasts quite a while. I appreciate this salt so much because it’s the most recommended for the carnivore diet. It dissolves easily in cooking and has a great taste. The grains aren’t huge, but also non-existent they are just the perfect size. It’s really fresh even though it’s bagged and is truly quality salt. The cap with a spout is incredibly convenient to refill containers!

Love this salt and have been using it for years. Love the quality, flavor and it’s very clean. I also love the packaging because of the easy to open pour top. I like the convenience of it coming every 2 months so I put it on auto ship awhile back. 16 oz is the perfect size for a month of cooking and table. My husband also adds it to water after a workout to help hydrate. I love that it is mined so I feel it has less micro plastics. We also buy Redmond Re-lite which is an electrolyte. All and all Redmond has great products!

Superior taste, texture, and quality. Once you make the switch, you will never go back to the "salt' you think you like. This will elevate any dish. This is a great quality salt in some classy packaging that looks great. We have been really trying to be better at getting minerals in our bodies. I put this into all of our water bottles including my kids. And they never complain about it or taste it. They've gotten to the point that they know that I do it and don't care. We also sprinkle it on food and I think it is an easy way to get some extra minerals in our bodies. And it is a very high quality salt. I'm also glad that it is from America. I don't know that I can say that we have noticed and intense change in our daily lives but I like thinking that we have added some minerals to our bodies for the better. I am grateful for the size of the bag that we will be able to use it for some time to come. I'm also grateful that I got it at a good time when it was on sale and that's why I opted for the bigger bag so it is a great value. It has an awesome pour spout that has a good twisted seal. And overall you could pretty much use it for cooking with or sprinkling on food or whatever you would like.
