Works great for before and after school duties. It is loud enough for everyone to hear you, but doesn't have that squeal and high pitched volume that makes people cringe. Lightweight, durable, and effective. Good megaphone for a good price.

What a wonderful item and it a must have

I absolutely love this megaphone unfortunately it's not with me at the moment to do a video. I keep it at a ranch where I have a hangar and an airplane and I have a lot of Critters that get in my hangar, while I'm out flying around when it's time to go home and close up I usually sound the Horn which scares a variety of small Critters out of the space. It's the only way to make sure they're not locked in when I leave. Sometimes my little dog decides to go out on adventure through the woods nearby and I use it to call her back which is also very effective. The thing works great and very happy about reviewing it highly recommended and you won't find anything better for the price

Definitely not the sturdiest of the megaphones available out there, but what can you ask for when these megaphones go for $11.99 to $19.99 when others out there can go for closer to $100.00. I am already pretty loud, so I really just need this for work to be able to project my voice even farther to the ends of the campus to collect the children and for the siren to first gather their attention. I do miss the other types of sirens on the more pricier ones, but those are hard on my wrists to carry around while outdoors. I would always end up placing them down on a table or two because it was just too bulky. These are light enough for me to keep with me at all times when outdoors.

I got the pink megaphone and I inserted four C 1.5V batteries and it works great! I know there was some discussion between which batteries to buy, but yes, the C 1.5v batteries works for this one.

It’s small & compact which is good but it’s not very loud. It has an annoying switch to turn it off & on. If you hand it to someone unfamiliar they often open the battery compartment trying to turn it on & the batteries fall out. Not great in a crowd to have large batteries rolling away. It’s alright. Good to give to kids for protests.

Great item to use at all the protests I attend! Lightweight, portable and loud! The price was great too! Would highly recommend!!!

good bang for buck

It was a gift for a friend who lives in a large villa, and keeps shouting to call his children to come to lunch... they seem to enjoy it. Material is good and the sound seems okay.
