My cousin is in love with trains, he is a fortunate kid, he always get everything he wants and more. My husband is very thoughtful and bought this wooden whistle that sounds like a real train!! It was incredible, I will never forget my cousins face, blowing his whistle and screaming it's Thomas the train sound!! Running around the house, he forgot about his other hundred presents all more fancy and expensive than the whistle. He is 4 years old and it was the best present for a train lover. To be honest he didn't care about the other whistle that comes in the set.

Like most of the reviews here said, the slide whistle is pretty bad. Doesn't whistle at all and the slide part is super loose. The train whistle on the other hand is perfect and sounds great! Which is good cuz that's the one I mostly care about, the slide whistle was just a fun bonus bonus for me. That being said, I'm pretty sure this seller does also sell the train whistle on its own, so I'd recommend getting that instead.

This was great for my granddaughter. I got one about the same age and had it into adulthood. I hope she will, also. Sounds great and seems to be well made.

Because of this cruddy pandemic I suggest these be given to the user/player and let no one else even touch them.

The Train whistle arrived exactly as expected and works great. The slide whistle didn't work and was a complete wast of money. I threw it away.

The train whistle is fun for little kids and adults alike. The slide whistle is garbage- barely functional. The slide whistle has a lot of air leak at both ends (fully extended and compact). It only makes a very airy tune in the middle of the slide range.
