Great for a positive large gate door security.

I purchased this for a barn door style garage door lock. They seem very well constructed with 1 major flaw. The screws that come with them are absolutely horrible. You MUST pre-drill the holes if you are planning on using the supplied screws. They are cross tip aka Phillips head and strip VERY easy. The rest of the product is good. Fits a dried 2x4 snug. Will not work with green lumbar has locking holes for grenade style pins. I can't give a 5 star rating due to the screws. I would recommend using lag bolts instead of screws if this is for outdoor use. But #10 decking screws will work also.

Needed to secure a garage door. Heavy iron construction, and easy to install. Dropped in a 2 × 4 and walked away knowing that nobody is kicking that door in!!

Heavy duty. I scuffed off paint around the edges and welded to a metal door frame. Put a 2x4 in there and maybe a screw or 2 on the ends so the 2x4 doesn't slide off either end.
