This toilet seat turned out to be perfect. Installation was quick and simple. I had it swapped in less than 10 minutes, and the hardware lined up without any hassle. Once installed, it fits snugly with no wobbling or shifting, which makes a dramatic difference compared to my old one. The quality is excellent. The seat feels solid and sturdy when sitting on it, not flimsy or cheap like some can be. The finish is smooth, easy to wipe clean, and still looks brand new after several weeks of daily use. I also appreciate that it does not hold onto any stains or marks, which makes cleaning much less of a chore. Comfort-wise, it is exactly right. It feels silly saying I love a toilet seat, but i do. Not just any toilet seat, this brand particularly! This is the second one I've ordered, in a different color because once again, we changed the colors and theme in our bathroom, which meant the toilet seat color must change too. I hate fabric lid covers that harbor bacteria. These toilet seats are the perfect solution! The first one was easy to install with the provided screws. Solid and sturdy, not the plastic crap. But replacing it the second time with a different color is where it really shines! You don't have to need with bolts or anything. Just slide the tabs to the unlock position and it pops off and you just set the new one in place and slide the tabs back to lock! Takes a few seconds. This is also great for cleaning those cracks in the seam you can never quite reach. No longer a problem. The size is always accurate without measuring. Just choose oval or round, depending on your bowl shape. The seat doesn't shift around in use. It's a quality seat that stands up to cleaning. The seat isn't noisy as the lid doesn't slam down. Its comfortable and the color is always accurate to what is shown. It holds up capacity wise whether in use by children or well endowed adults. But best of all, ita affordable! A cheap seat that one would think was a high end one. When you've got to tinkle, this is the toilet seat for you!

i broke my old toilet seat and couldn’t find the proper replacement for months. if i did find one to fit it was expensive. this one was a perfect fit, very sturdy, and super easy to install!

Very nice toilet seat at an excellent price! Update on this review. It is designed to be easily removed for cleaning, which is a great idea, but unfortunately, it locks in place poorly. If you lean, even slightly, it pops loose. Great idea, but please, Bemis, keep working on that lock!

Nice quality toilet seat for the price! My little ones do make me nervous when they shut it, as it slams down and can be a bit noisy. It’s thick overall and sturdy.

This is a very nice toilet seat. It was easy to install and seems sturdy, BUT I just replaced one (of a different brand) which had the SAME exact kind of cheap plastic hardware and while trying to get that toilet seat off, one of the bolts stripped. So what should have been a 5 minute project turned into an hour and a half project trying to replace the toilet seat. I hate this kind of hardware and I supposed maybe that's why some toilet seats cost twice as much...you're probably paying for better hardware/design. At the very least they could make the screws or nuts with some flat edges/a hex shape so that you can grip them with tools. When they're round you can't grip anything. I finally just had to drill the old bolts out...which should NOT be necessary. Anyway, I took a star off for cheap hardware design which seems universal with this price point of toilet seat. Be careful when installing/uninstalling.

Website did not advise on fixing centres - clearly this American product is for the home market of the USA. Screws at wrong centres for UK toilets. Will not be returning as the postage back to USA is cost prohibitive. Very poor information on your website - product itself appeared very sound and fit for purpose. BUYER BEWARE!

Llegó exactamente en la fecha estimada. Aún cuando venía desde Amazon Estados Unidos, llegó en excelentes condiciones, sin ningún daño. El asiento es fuerte, se nota la calidad del producto. Para los que tuvieron problemas con la rosca, no es necesario romper su pestaña o sujetador, lo único que tienen que hacer es enroscar hasta donde puedan y una vez que tope con la taza del baño, van a sujetar la rosca, y tomar un desarmador, y con ese desarmador, van a girar los tornillos de plástico. La rosca la van sujetar para que no se mueva, y solo van a mover o girar el tornillo con el desarmador. Yo le hice así, y sin ningún problema quedó instalado, y sin romper ninguna pieza. En Estados Unidos es muy común este tipo de asientos de madera, pero que lucen como los de plástico, pero que no se sienten fríos como uno de plástico. Yo una vez compré en México uno similar, pero después ya no pude encontrar, hasta que finalmente pude encontrarlo aquí en Amazon y a muy buen precio. Muy recomendable. Solo espero nos dure como el anterior que teníamos.
