Great pieces to replace missing or damaged backs on earrings. I liked this combo pack of silver and gold, simply because it seemed I needed both metal tones. I also have metal allergies so these kind of allow me to wear fashion jewelry (at least sometimes, for awhile) when less metal is clenched against my ears. I did find, occasionally, a post was too thin and the fit wasnt secure. Sometimes not everything works every time. For those pieces, I use the old standard backs made for very thin posts. I find these much easier to manage (especially with fingernails) getting off and on than regular tiny backs and they keep my earrings close to my lobes without pinching. I actually have been using this type of earrings back for years (decades) and they absolutely make my life easier. Oh! And missing the back on a hat or lapel pin? Try one of these. They also keep earrings from being clamped too tight accidentally. The clear plastic circle on the back provides a counterbalance for dangling or heavy earrings that helps the earrings look right, and not to cause pain either. I bought these to prevent my child from hurting her ears bc she likes to play with her earrings, and traditional backs can get stuck way too tight. They are easy to out in and take off, match most earrings, and the plastic circle is invisible with all types of earrings we've tried. We use them exclusively with every pair of earrings we wear now.

The hole is so small you have to be careful that you don’t break the back of your earring and some earrings. It just won’t go through. The hole is just too small. So far I have broken one of these things. The rubber backing broke off as I was trying to push it through.
