I had a stye on each eyelid for approximately 8 months. I tried warm compresses, oils and even purchased an electric eye mask. This tool worked the first use! I was so happy!! I made sure I took a warm, steamy shower. After the shower I sterilized the tool with rubbing alcohol, rinsed and gently used it to squeeze the glands on the lid where the stye was. Sweet relief! Very satisfying as well to see the excretion. I did this once a day for about a week just to be remove any excess that may be produced. I continued maybe once a week to avoid any build up again. The main thing to remember is to make sure it’s sterilized and to also take extreme caution so as not to injure your eye or lid. This was the quickest and simplest tool. Best ever!

Another review said theirs had sharpe edges and they were worried about damaging their eyelid, this is not my experience with the one I received so I don’t know if this person is just overly concerned or received a poorly made one. The one I got is exactly what I was looking for. I haven’t had any great success in expressing my glands, but not due to the product, I think my glands are not as clogged as I thought. Plus it’s surprisingly uncomfortable squeezing your eyelid lol I’m sure when this is done professionally like a Lipiflow procedure (which costs between 450-500 PER EYE) they use a numbing cream or something. So I have not had the results I hoped for after watching too many videos on r/popping and YouTube on clogged meibomian glands. Alas. I think this works best when used after a hot shower or using a warm compress on the eyes for about 10 minutes. Good product for the money, no sharp edges on mine and pretty easy to use. Smaller than I thought it was going to be but that doesn’t affect how well it works, just surprised me.

Works well and easy to use. I like that it works right side up and upside down. Comfortable.

I've had dry eyes for a couple of years and my eye doctor has been useless in educating me. He didn't explain why it that blockages point to a degenerative condition that can be slowed it stopped if treated early with a tool like this. He simply sentenced me to a life of using warm compresses on my eyes. I knew there had to be a way to heal the issue. I found this process by doing my own research. And while it hasn't healed the issue it provides me with a much better way to alleviate and hopefully stop the degeneration. Time will tell. It also has led me to the research as to why I have dry eye - because the oil is to thick and blocking my glands. Doctor simply said I have mild Blepharitis. Clearing out the blockages has relieved me. Why didn't he suggest this?!! This tool works very well on the bottom glands because I can easily reach. The upper lids are harder to squeeze and I haven't been as successful but it's through no fault of this tool. It's just awkward. Since using this tool my eyes tend to stay more hydrated throughout the day, presumably because the oil glands are able to excrete more easily. They don't feel it look as tired. Overnight dry eyes are still a problem but the degree seems to be less.
