I make a lot of Japanese recipes, and this makes a perfect filling for mochi or Taiyakis (Small, Adzuki filled fish shaped pancakes.) The bean paste has a nice texture and a wonderful sweet (but not too sweet) flavor. I'm very happy with the product and will definitely order it again!

I bought this for some baking projects, and I found it to be tasty and delightful to work with. It’s a workable texture even at room temp, but a little bit of time in the fridge makes it extra easy to shape. The flavor is subtle and not cloyingly sweet. My one complaint is the packaging; I would prefer something resealable.

I have been ordering this from Amazon for years. After my bad experience buying from local Chinese market, I started buying this one from Amazon, and I am not going back to the Chinese market.

I like to make mochi and put this bean mixture into the ball. Very delicious

Warning: this does have bean skin in the paste. Tastes delicious, is not grimy or powdery. Has a smooth consistency. Goes amazing with vanilla ice cream.
