This dog crate cover is absolutely perfect! The sizing fits my dog’s crate so, so well — almost like it was made for it. The quality is solid; it doesn’t need to be cashmere or fancy. It’s more like a light tarp material, which is totally fine because it’s durable, easy to clean, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I bought this for my 3-month-old puppy while crate training, and the difference was noticeable immediately. It keeps the crate cozy and locks in warmth, which is amazing since our bedroom is basically a freezer at night. He stays toasty but not overheated, and he settles down much easier. I love that you can fold up any side depending on airflow or visibility — super versatile. The Velcro holds well, and cleanup is simple with a damp wipe. Product is definitely not waterproof. Went outside after it had been raining that day to find the bed inside the kennel was soaked through. This is water resistant in that it can handle light rain but definitely not water proof for heavier rain. Very disappointed

I've given this review based on my dog, a 40 pound Standard Schnauzer. The cage wire is a good thickness and strong enough that he was never able to escape or destroy any part of the cage. We used the cover until the zipper broke and once that happened the cover no longer fit tightly & our pup was able to pull it into his pen and rip it to shreds. He must have been very entertained to be able to yank it though the wire openings! After our pup found out he enjoyed the challenge, we went through 2 towels and a blanket before we gave up using any type of covering. If you don't need your kennel covered then I'd say go for this one because it's held up extremely well but if a cover is important to you then you might want to look at another product.
