Fantastic!
My gosh, these pulley are amazingly good! Light weight, but seem to be very well made. And they roll so easily--as another reviewer said, they almost free-wheel. We have a long clothesline that goes from our porch to a pine tree about 80' away. Had to replace things recently because lightning took out the tree where the original line was anchored. Tried several pulleys, including some rather expensive ones from the local hardware store that claimed to be "lifetime lubricated." Can't believe how hard it was to pull the line back/forth with those pulleys. So, I found these on Amazon and bought a pair. Again, can't believe how well they work! Be sure to buy the version with ball bearings. More expensive, but probably well worth the extra dollar or two. Someone asked if the pulleys had a brake. Not exactly, but there are holes that line up so you can insert a clothespin (or a dowel, etc.) into the holes. Holds everything in place. A nice feature for us because one end of the line is much higher than the other. Heavy things--like wet sheets--move unless we use those stoppers. A very nice feature! Finally, as much as we love these pulleys, the purchase and shipping was weird. We bought two pulleys--one order for two pulleys. However, the distributor shipped them in two separate parcels. One was UPS, the other was USPS. Both left the distributor on the same day and both were delivered to us on the same day. But, why separate shipments? And why different carriers? Go figure.

OK product
This may be the best you can get online at least at Amazon. I have a 70 foot line on the second floor into the trunk of a tree 70 feet away. Strong storm winds have brought down my line twice now in 7 years. First time the wood hook pulled out of the wall. The second time, I had installed a larger hook and the pulley broke. This pulley looks no stronger than what I had before. It is smooth even with a tight line.

This is a very good product. They will hold up in extreme temperatures and last a long time. Easy to install and I loved the tensioner supplied

Quality
These clothes line pulleys are very good quality and the ball bearings make the line effortless to move. Even with a full load of clothes on, the line moves smoothly. The all metal body seem impervious to weather and ruggedly constructed. I have no doubts these will last a long time

Instructions state for clothesline use only - online description does not state that fact
I ordered this assuming that it would handle at least a 500 pound load when used with the appropriate rope. I will keep the pulley for light duty use. My advice is don't trust it for 500 pounds. The center pin for the pulley is also aluminum and appears to be very weak. My original intention was to use the pulley to lift a 400 pound Ingersoll-Rand compressor. I changed my mind after seeing the pulley and made other arrangements to do the lift. Beware - its a clothesline pulley only!

what can I say about the Strata Clothsline Pully? It works and it runs buttery smooth. I replaced two other pulleys this summer and the difference is incredible! I know it's silly to get excited about hanging out cloths, but this is so smooth it takes no effort to move a full line, even when full of heavy towels. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a clothesline pully.

I can commend this unit. Purchased two units to set up a washing line in my 125 fet long garden. Had the advantage of a veranda near the house. Four feet high. So line was pitched at 10 feet from ground. I'd also recommend purchasing the pulley units. Which hold the two lines together. Otherwise heavy wet blankets and sheets drag to the ground.
