worked great during my hunting trip, not as fast as a jet boil but it heated up during my drive back to camp. Enjoyed a nice hot dehydrated meal once at camp.

I read other reviews of it taking 20ish minutes to boil. My first time using it i only put about 8oz in it and I had boiling water in 10 minutes. I travel a lot in my Tesla and sleep in it often. Gas station coffee just wasn't cutting it! I made hot ramen, oatmeal and mocha with it. All hot and ready to go within 20 minutes. I do find myself giving the water a swirl every few minutes but I don't think it's necessary, just something I do. In this picture, I filled to the max and waited about 20 minutes. It was enough for my Mocha and my oatmeal! Outside temp was 43° but it's so windy it feels like 38°. A hot meal when there's nothing else around is heaven. I've used it 3 times now and I LOVE IT! I wasn't sure about this product, works great! It does take a few minutes to heat up. Be patient, it will be boiling before you know it. So be very careful! The directions are simple. Just follow them when first using the kettle.

Took the 2 of these I bought car camping and plugged them into my car, took about 20 mins for them to be hot, not rolling boil hot but hot enough to make a freeze dried breakfast pouch and cup of coffee, filled them right back up and bc they were still hot on the I side took about 15mins to get another couple cups of got water, I was glad I had them bc I wasn't expecting to wake up to a foot of snow where I was, hot coffee and breakfast definitely helped get me moving. I wouldn't rely on these primarily for hot water, they were to supplement the pot of water on the fire, but getting a fire started with soaked logs was a problem. I'll be buying these again in winter for " when the first die, I have back ups'

Worked okay at first. Took a long time to boil, 25 minutes +. The button was always a bit cheap feeling and didn't take long before it popped right back out when you go to turn it on. Had to pry the button out and rig it to stay pushed in just to get it to work at all. Now, it blew a 12v fuse, the wire plug end burnt out and it is unusable. Can't recommend this product

We purchased this item to add to our "power outage" kit. We have solar generators, panels, propane stoves, and gas and diesel generators. So, living in "The Great White North", we thought that it might be nice to have an easy and quick way to just get some hot water. Hence, this kettle. Keep in mind what it is - it is a small, low-power kettle that operates on 12V (cigarette lighter or 12V plug on solar generator). It is low power by design - you don't want to draw your car battery down to quickly. Low power means that it will not boil your four plus cups of water in three minutes. No, just over one cup of liquid in 24 minutes., after all, cannot break the laws of physics. If that is a deal-breaker, then rethink your plan, or adjust your expectations. It accomplishes what it does really well. We just had to use it this week, with our power out for a few hours. It was getting to supper time, and we had to decide what to do - Sterno stove, propane stove, or boil some water. We weren't that hungry, so oatmeal sounded good. Dragged out the solar generator, filled the kettle, and voila, 24 minutes later we had boiling water. Highly recommended. But do heed my comments on the size and speed of it.

It did heat up the water after about 30 mins. Brought to a boil but it only makes about a cup and half. Wasn’t that impressed so returned it but did work for my roadtrip to make noodles.

This is a great little car kettle. It brings water up to a light boil in about 15 minutes (which is good for something that plugs into a cigarette lighter). It's simple to use and fits in a car cup holder.

Heats to about 90' to 95' in 1/2 hour. Worked 5 times/week for about 2 years. Worth the purchase

I wont recommend it due to the bad quality. I've used to use it once a day from the last two months , today 21/02/2023 it stopped working by no reason.
