Ok this stuff is great, but it's not just dump it and ignore it, you have to monitor the water afterward and it may take a couple of applications. I had an issue with chlorine load in my pool, the salt water chlorine generator was not coming close to keeping up, even at a high setting. The generator was tested and working properly, so my pool company suggested that I may have mold in my lines which was using all of the chlorine. I then tried another product (two buckets actually) over a summer, which only helped a little or not at all as the generator could still not keep up. I have a fiberglass pool, 15,000 gallons. So I gave Ahh-some a try:First Treatment of Ahh-some: I used one tub of Ahh-some and shock, and didn't test the water or monitor that closely. Nothing really happened (other than the water was clearer) because the salt generator still could not keep up, the chlorine was back to zero when i checked it a few days later, so I had to shock again.Second treatment of Ahh-some. (about a month later) I used one tub and shocked as before, in the evening. This time I checked the chlorine levels in the morning, and was shocked (pun intended!) that my chlorine levels were almost zero. So three bags of shock were completely used in about 10 hours, presumably, by all of the junk that Ahh-some freed up. This has never happened, two bags would typically last almost a week before my free chlorine would be zero, and I used three bags this time. So I added two or three more bags then, and the chlorine levels have remained high (over the last week) and I can see the remnants of mold or some other substance at the bottom of my pool. (hard to describe but it's white)My conclusion:I'll report back if anything changes, but it looks like the issue is resolved. The 2nd treatment of shock in the morning was the key I think, because the mold probably would have returned without any free chlorine left after being spent overnight. (assuming this was mold, or whatever it was). Or the first treatment freed up enough stuff that was wiped out during the second application a month later. Either way, my lesson learned was to test the water afterward and try another application if necessary - hopefully this helps with anyone in a similar situation especially with mold. Next summer I'll continue to use the product to keep the bad stuff from returning.

Really Ahh..Some 6 Stars...
Hi,First off let me say, this stuff works, we've been using it now for 7 years, (it used to be called by another name that I have since forgotten), in fact is so good that I stopped testing my water because it was always spot on and never ever go to a pool store to see what they think. I use one 6oz container every 30 days, keep the leaves out of the pool (everyday) and barely run the DE filter (less than 10hours a week)use very little chlorine, and never even have to add a shock treatment. Crazy huh.My 15,000 gal Esther Williams pool is so clean and smells oh so good.If you think spending a $18-$20 a container is too much, re-think it and buy in bulk (3 at a time). (I buy 6 containers a season, 1 each month from April thru Sept and 1 winter version before I close the pool) When I take the cover off in the spring the water looks simply delicious. How it does what it does I have no idea, nor do I care, all I know is my pool water is sparkling, it leaves no film on me/the kids or the pool liner and the pool store is never visited to ck my water. For less than the price of a cup of coffee a day, cheap my friends.kind regards,The Kelly's

Really Clarifies! Outstanding performance!
I let the hot tub get away from me and had cloudy water still after I had shocked and rebalanced the water. Cloudy for days. Cleaned the filter. The chemistry was right. I thought I was going to have to drain and restart. Then I found this in my cabinet, where it got shoved to the back and I had forgotten to use it. Put in a treatment. Then, ran the jets. Big quantity of foam, topped with bright green algae. Wiped that up. The water was nearly clear!Ran the jets again. Big foam. Some bright green algae floated to the top of the foam, but way less. Wiped that up. The water was clear!Ran the jets again. No green. Some yellowish biofilm came to the top of the foam. wiped that up. The water was sparkling clear.Ran the jets one last time. Some foam still but no biofilm, no algae, and water beautiful. This cleaner did in an hour and 3 jet cycles what the clean filter, shock, and DAYS of filtering did not do...GREAT STUFF!!! Not going to forget it again!

Odd product, somewhat expensive, but seems to work
Sold as a bio-clarifier (compared to PoolPerfect), but the first thing that happens when you put it in the skimmer is the pump output turns to a white jet and the pool gets cloudy. After a few hours running the filter, it clears up. Seems to keep the pool more clear and free from algae over a month than not using it. Application instructions say to superchlorinate and adjust pH before applying. One jar supposedly treats 15,000 gallons for 30 days, but my 17,000 pool takes a more frequent re-treatment. Odd that the superchlorination doesn’t destroy the enzymes like it does with Pool Perfect (I assume it’s an enzyme product, but it doesn’t say). I’ve used for several years now. Only complaint is that some jars turn up already opened and half used, which is unacceptable for such an expensive product.

Ahhmazing!
I ordered this during Amazon Prime so it was probably quite a bit cheaper than now. I was having trouble this year with my pool being clear. The instruction on the jar was a little vague so I found their website and sent a email. I received a response the next day! I was told to put this in the pool; I have a 27’ above ground so I put the whole jar in my skimmer basket and to let it run (I believe 4-6 hours), then backwash it in 48 hours. I was told it would take up to a week to work. We’ll I was very hesitant because day after day I saw no improvement. Sure enough 7 days later my pool is crystal clear! It says to use once a month but $30…is it worth the price…I may try every other month. I did buy their Winter Closing jar too so we’ll see how that works

Doesn’t work
Don’t buy it. It doesn’t work. Waste of money, water still dirty after 7 days of the product applied
