The squeal of delight from my niece from this book was proof enough for me! She's anxious to read this book, and proceed to other books in the series. Loved at first glance
I had to make a guess for my 9yo niece this Christmas, for a book she'd like. I knew she was reading at-or-above grade level, and she LOVES participating in Girl Scouts. Good story for girl scouts.

Perfect series for my Brownies Scouts!

“Moral of the story” is not a good one!
While parts of the book were fun & cute, the moral of the story is absolutely horrible and goes against the ideals that Girl Scouts teach. I don’t want to spoil the ending for anyone, but I will say that the “lesson” learned by the young scouts is more or less that it’s alright for adults to lie to cover up a mistake instead of owning up to it and making the proper amends.
