Q: How many normal cans can it hold?

I have not try this. But maybe 6, 5 cans for sure.

Q: Would it keep breastmilk frozen? And can it hold a few bottles?

I would not chance putting breastmilk in it to keep it frozen. I put sandwiches in it everyday for lunch that I make the night before and place in the fridge over night. When lunch time comes they are fine but not cold.

Q: does the 28oz hydroflask food jar fit inside?

I would say yes. I’m not 100% positive but if I remember correctly, it was a pretty decent sized box. (I bought it for my daughter that lives across the county)
