BACON FLAVORED! She LIKES It, and It Works! YAY!
WONDERFUL "liquid" B Complex supplement to easily be able to dose pets who will NOT swallow a regular "capsule"! We have a little Shih Tzu who used to be sooooooooooooooo good about swallowing her supplement pills when she was younger. All we did is coat them with a bit of butter, put her in a sit-stay, and then tell her "TREAT!". She would gobble up her vitamins in a second. Fast forward 12 years.... She's super picky now. We can usually get her to swallow them if we coat them with cream cheese, salmon cream cheese, or peanutbutter, but when she had very bad seasonal allergies this past summer, we had a horrible time of it! She just refused most of her supplements. We got away with adding the capsule contents to her homecooked organic meals, BUT only with supplements that did not smell "medicine-y". IF you have ever smelled a B-Comlex capsule or caplet, you know they are.....strong smelling. She would refuse her food if I dared to try and add it to her meals. The vet told me "not to worry about it" for a few mos -- that she got her vitamins from her food. I knew better than that! Dogs NEED Vit B's, esp B12. She is on a no grain diet, and she doesn't eat pork. I knew she wasn't getting any vit B from her food. I reluctantly "didn't' worry about it" for about 2 mos. Well.....HUGE MISTAKE! She came down with what looked like "glossitis" (shiny, reddish tongue). I knew this was NOT normal. At the time, I didn't know what was going on. We rushed her to the vets. They didn't know either. Since she had a sinus issue along with her atopic allergies, they just suspected a sinus infection and put her on antibiotics. That did nothing. After researching, I found articles on Glossitis. I asked the vets about it, but they told me they doubted that is what it was *don't get me started on vets!*. I decided to test my theory out on my own. I found a few liquid Vit B Complex, but most had either yeast (she is allergic to yeast ingredients) , or had a lot of sugar in them. Lucikly, I came across this brand. It smells like bacon. Enough said. My dog LOVES it. :) The battle had been WON! YAY! Within about 2 weeks or less?...the shiny, red tongue was 90% back to normal (only glossy way in the back of her tongue). It took about almost 1 month for her tongue to get 100% normal. Thank G*D for this product! Needless to say, we changed vets and found one who is much more informed! We had to go a whole State away, but it is worth it! So, any negatives to this product? Well, it does contain fructose, but I can't imagine it could be palatable without it! And it has xanthum gum, which acts as a thickener. It is apparently derrived from either corn, wheat, dairy, or soy -- ALL of which can be allergens to dogs, but....so far, so good when we dosed it. It was the best alternative we could find. It got rid of her tongue issue, and she did seem to have a TON more energy! IMHO, I think this product rates A++++++, esp if you have an older and/or ill pet who is unable to swallow pills. Now that she is fine and is amiable to swallowing her supplements, we have gone back to giving her the people-quality B-Complex capsule, but every now and then (about 1 x week) I will give her a squirt of this liquid B Complex just as a special insurance to make sure her B12 needs are covered. The only reason we went back to giving her the regular capsules is because they are much higher mgs in each of the individual B's, other than in B12. We give her a 50mg B Complex capsule daily as her normal dose. I wish I could find a complete multi vitamin for her in liquid form -- that would make her life and mine so much easier, lol! The only ones I have found are ones for infants, but all of those contain "sorbitol" and that can be toxic to dogs. Thankfully, This PETS AMINO B-PLEX does NOT contain any sorbitol! Excellent!

My dog loves the taste..
I give this twice a day to my 14.5 year old lab.. She takes other supplements but I feel this helps give her energy. We all need b vitamins as we get to be seniors. She hikes 3-4 miles a day. Thank you for a great pet product!

Our Cat & Dog Love It - Both Seem To Benefit
We are starting our third bottle, after several months of usage, and we're generally pretty pleased with the results. The product has been palatable to both our animals (including our cat, who is VERY picky about flavors), is easy enough to dispense, and both our pets seem to have benefit in several ways. The results for our dog is subtle, since she was already fairly healthy and energetic for her age. We alternate days when we provide the Amino B-Plex drops in her food, and we've noticed the time it takes for her to warm up after sleeping has gotten shorter. She's able to stretch out any aches within a minute or two, compared to three to five minutes before we started giving her the product (before than it was 10 minutes, but adding Nupro powdered supplement helped a lot). I We've experiments with larger doses and/or shorter intervals between doses, but it seems like two droppers (split between breakfast and dinner) every other day yields the best results. There was no more improvement if we increased her dosage or frequency. Larger doses may have contributed to softer bowel movements, but we didn't test long enough to say conclusively. Our cat likely has IBD (the vet was never able to definitively diagnose it, as we took the clinical route before paying for full lab, and she responded as expected), and she's VERY fussy about flavor. There's a number of supplements we've tried that she will refuse to eat. She seems to enjoy Amino B-Plex mixed into her seafood pate (so far this protein has been the most stable for her). Since adding this along with her medications and tailored diet; the number of IBD flare ups have dropped, as have their severity. Her bowel movements have become much better and more regular. Her coat has gotten more glossy and sheds way less. She has become more energetic, and has been able to put on more healthy weight. We've tapered down to 8 ~ 10 drops in the morning and 8 ~ 10 drops in the early evening, which seems to be optimal for her. There are less-expensive supplements like this, which get excellent reviews, but our cat absolutely will not eat unless you force her. This has been the ONLY supplement she will willingly eat. Really, she's actually enthusiastic about it. The dog would eat anything you put in a bowl, but I'm sure she enjoys the bacon and liver flavor of this as well. Be sure to regularly clean the dropper bulb, as the oil seems to regularly seep up past the seal. If you don't regularly clean around the dropper bulb and rim of the bottle, it will start to drip over the edges no matter how carefully you handle the bottle (which is touch since you need to shake it up). Despite these minor gripes, I still think this is a very good product. I suggest always trying out various brands and formulations to see what works best for your pets, but Amino B-Plex managed to be what worked best for us.

Experiencia personal

New label you loose 2 key B-vitamins.
It always seems when something changes it's label, so do the ingredients. Unfortunately this product has removed the B-5 (pantothenic acid 5mg) which helps an essential B-vitamin for cats, crucial for energy metabolism, synthesis of hormones and neurotransmitters, and maintaining a healthy skin and coat. And also they took out the B-12 (2mcg) which aids with supporting their immune and nervous systems, aiding digestion, improving cognitive function, and helping to maintain appetite, energy levels, and red blood cell production. I have used this product for yrs and it's sad to see they have taken out 2 very important B-vitamins with the label change. :(

Dog loves this and it works to increase her appetite
This works perfect for getting my dog to eat her kibble. I mix it with a topper and she is ready to eat. Such a relief to find this. She has been on it a week and a big improvement on her eating.
