I've been using these since September 2024 when my 13 lb. Chihuahua mix was diagnosed with diabetes. At first, I was hoping I could use one that didn't have a long needle. I learned that this is what my vet recommended to ensure the insulin goes under the skin well. This brand is the same as the one my vet sells, just half the price. Some of the printing on the syringes looks incomplete at times, but not enough to be an issue. I keep several bags in a small plastic container with alcohol wipes to corral Skylar's supplies. I got the one in the photo at the dollar store. The ends secure.

Works great. Dog doesn't notice the needle unless I mess up.
