This came in the nick of time. My old homedics sound machine was slowly dying. I had to turn it almost full volume to get any sound. This one is a different shape that’s easy to hold in my hand. You can either use it with batteries or plug it in to an electric power source. It functions either way just as easily. It’s a great value for my money. I’ve slept with a sound machine for years. Easy to understand directions. It’s of a great quality work. Feels solid.

This machine is a lifesaver! My husband has a hard time sleeping because of the noise of his tube feeding. This helps mask that, and allows him to get the rest he needs to heal. It's sound quality is excellent, and it's very light and portable, making it easy to carry with us when we have to be somewhere else. It's a great value for a small price.

I love this sound machine. Most used sounds are rain and white noise. Helps my baby relax and go to sleep. I also love that when you have batteries in there, you can just unplug the cord from the machine and it stays on. Nice for when I leave the room and rock the baby somewhere else, so I don’t have to bend and plug it back in, I can just grab it and take it wherever I need to go. Also helpful to bring in the car. The summer night sound has been useful when baby isn’t sleepy, just fussy, he finds the sounds interesting and calms down.

I enjoy listening to the sound of the surf while going to sleep. There’s several other sound options. So simple to hook up and use. I love the volume control this unit provides. It’s just the right size for me to travel with, I use it nightly whether at home or in a motel. The original one that I purchased years ago didn’t allow me to take it with me, it was a larger unit. This sets on my night stand and still allows room for my other penal items.

Sounds were decent

This is a nice sound machine. It has great sound. The buttons are a good size. Most other sound machines have ridiculously small buttons. It also has good variety of sounds. I liked this machine so much, I ordered another one for the other bedroom.

I sleep well with this sound machine. I live with 3 other people and it blocks the sound out of them doing activities in the house, while I need to stay asleep. It works great and I love the beach waves sound. It's soothing.

I had a Homedics white noise machine that I purchased for the grandbabies, probably ten years ago. My daughter gave it back to me and I used it at least a year until I couldn't adjust the sound as low as I wanted. I gave it away, which I now regret, to our local Share Shack. This new Homedics machine has 2 blue lights that reflect on the ceiling. I changed the location to a covered shelf but it still puts out light. Then this afternoon I went to change from Brook to Ocean. It was stuck on Brook. The Ocean key was a little bit off, and I had to reposition it with my fingernail and now it's OK. Now a big deal, but I expect a new machine to be perfect. I wish I hadn't gotten rid of the old Homedics, and just put it under the bed for a lower sound. I thought about giving this one to family as a gift, but I'm not sure after the issue with the stuck key.
