I'd give this 10 stars if I could! My finger tips got rough from over exposure to UV light (for gel nails) and got extremely dry/crusty and super sensitive! I thought I was going to need medical ointment. I did some research (with the help of chatgpt lol) and found this amazing healing product! I put it on before bed with cotton gloves to lock in the moisture and its transformed my nails in just a few days. It also helped my eczema break out on my hands! The texture went away after 48hrs. It takes a good squeeze to get it out of the bottle lol but a little goes a long way. This is worth the money and should be in your skincare!

I love cerave products ! This ointment has basically changed my skin! I used it every night the last step of my skincare routine, it seals all hydration throughout the night ! I used to have severe dry skin during winter time is worse ! Especially during indoor heat and outdoor wind. My cheek will look very red and dry like I had rosacea! Since I found this ointment , OMG, no more dryness on my cheek when I wake up every morning! My face look glowy without oily! I have used it all over my face ! It doesn’t cause breakout or clog pores! I bought it for my mom, she even noticed her wrinkles Is less obvious! I think everyone should try this and have it as stable in the house !

I have really bad itchy eczema dry skin in the winter. For the past year or so it continued into the summer, so I have been dealing with this frustrating issue for quite a while. Sometimes it gets so bad I end up scratching my skin until it starts bleeding and I have been desperate for an affordable solution that doesn't involve doctor's appointments to fix. I've tried lotion after lotion after lotion. From CeraVe Intense Moisturizing lotion to Amlactin Intensive Healing lotion. Nothing had been working. After discovering that ointments are much better for constant skin irritation than your standard lotions, I bought this and I am so thankful that I did. For the first time ever, I have been able to see immediate improvement in my skin when I apply this at night. The itching is soothed so quickly after applying, and it helps me sleep instead of being kept up all night from scratching. It is so nice to wake up in the morning with little to no itching or burning. I would need to apply lotions 24/7 to even see a fraction of the results I see from this in just two nights. I am bad at consistent use of almost anything but when I go too long without using this it is very obvious which makes keeping up with consistent use so easy. Sometimes I even apply this to my lips at night before sleeping and it works so well for incredibly chapped winter lips if I do that for a couple nights. It may be a little sticky and the consistency is a little thick in comparison to lotion, but the results are well beyond worth it for me. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone with harsh painful itchy skin. It has been a miracle worker for me all winter long. The tub lasts quite a long while and a little goes a long way, so the size is perfect. And it doesn't have any noticeable scents or fragrances which makes it even more compatible for sensitive skin and people with sensitive noses which is a huge plus.

There are pros and cons to this product. I bought it based on my dermatologist’s recommendation. The product itself is very effective, and I’ve noticed a significant difference in my hands. However, the description claims it’s non-greasy, but it is. Therefore, I can only use it before going to bed. I strongly recommend you avoid the tube packaging and opt for the jar instead. The product is so thick that it’s extremely difficult to squeeze out of the tube. I tried various methods before giving up and buying the jar. That’s why I’m giving it a 4-star rating, with the packaging being the only reason for the lower rating. I wish I had found this product years ago because I’ve spent a lot of money on other products only for it not to work. It has helped my extremely dry skin, cracked hands and finger tips, and dry, cracking cuticles. You won’t be disappointed!

I love this ointment! I strongly prefer its texture over things like Vaseline or Aquaphor. The CeraVe ointment is far less greasy than the others. It's very thick, so you don't need a ton of it at one time. It's great for when I deal with things like cracked heels, cracked cuticles, chapped lips, really dry skin, etc. The only problem is that it can be hard to squeeze out of the tube. My fix for that is not to use the flip-top cap (which has a very small opening), but to take the whole cap off (which creates a larger opening that's much easier to squeeze the ointment through.) I also appreciate that it comes in the five-ounce size. That lasts a lot longer than the three-ounce tube, but isn't a huge tub like the 12-ounce one. I highly recommend this product!

Very good for hydrating chapped lips - although it's not fixing my particular problem, I'm enjoying the moisturizing treatment.

This cream is the best for super dry skin. I use it on frequently washed hands, feet, and even on a spot of eczema on my face. It's a little greasy but absorbs quickly.
