These are wonderful peeled tomatoes that I use for my tomato sauce. Not too sweet, not bland at all. Simply well-balanced and delicious.

It's so nice to get canned tomatoes that taste good AND are clean right out of the can. There's no trimming or coring necessary.

Excellent product!! I wish Amazon would lower the price, though.

This is the best price I’ve seen for these which carry me over till I have my own canned. The cans did arrive pretty banged up, but no damage to the product inside.

These are the only tomatoes that I cook with. The flavor is fantastic and the quality is outstanding. The late, great Marcella Hazan wrote the bible on Italian cooking and had this to say about canned tomatoes: “there should be no pieces, no sauce in the can, nothing but whole, firm-fleshed tomatoes, with a little of their juice”. These are those tomatoes. Even imported tomatoes from San Marzano usually contain a heavy tomato sauce and wilted basil in the can and I have been disappointed with nearly all of the ones I’ve tried. These are so much better. Everyone needn’t be so hung up on imported being better when this product proves that isn’t true. I’m delighted to use these every chance I get.

If you like to fry your tomatoes when making certain Italian sauces or heavy-bodied stews, real San Marzano tomatoes are so soft and sweet that they collapse and disappear in the pan. This brand -- though not authentic -- is absolutely perfect for my needs: the tomatoes are firm, voluminous, and saute beautifully. Highly recommended.

The product was fine. I problem was the cans we loose in box so they arrived completely smashed.
