Ibanez PowerPad Designer IGB541 Electric Guitar Gig Bag - Black

This is easily the best gig bag I have ever purchased. The material feels sturdy, and the aesthetics are nice (I got a blue one). The fit it a little big for my tele, but the internal velcro straps keep it in place! My strat fits a little snugger, but not too tight. Not concerned about fitting any solid body. The external straps and handles are secure; I am not nervous wearing it backpack style. The multiple straps and hooks allow me to hang the bag up in my closet when not in use. It has a TON of storage space, including pockets that are AC TUALLY big enough to hold my books. All in all, I could not be happier, and I will certainly buy another if I beat this one up too much!

Perfect. As described. I'm not gonna throw it off my roof or toss it outta my car, but I can safely carry it down the street to my guitar lesson.

Great looking bag. Colors were spot on. Very well constructed. Seams are all straight, even, and well sewn. Big - I don't own a hollow body (yet), but I believe this bag would fit one. Plenty of room for Strats, Tele's and other similarly sized guitars. nice neck strap inside bag controls guitar movement somewhat. Large pocket - should fit 8.5 X 11 sheet music. Several misc pockets - should fit the rest of my crap easily and will have extra room for more.... unfortunately. Padding seems to be of very good quality and protects areas that it should - Wraps around bottom and buts together where bag zips closed. This is a good bag that I won't hesitate to carry an expensive instrument in. There are bags with thicker padding out there. But you can get a hard case for less than what some companies want for their thick-padded bags. Only knock I have is that I wish that the Ibanez section of the label were larger. I had to look for it - but that's just whining.

This is an OK bag. It’s a bit big for your typical Fender but probably a nice fit on an RG. The straps are solidly connected and comfortable, the accessory pockets are padded and generous size, and it looks a lot classier than most lower-priced gig bags. Materials seem a bit less robust than expected, and padding along the non-zipper side kind of shifts around inside the fabric. For the price and for light duty use it’ll do nicely. Time will tell on durability. If you just need a bag for occasional transport or storage, go for it. If you plan on hauling nice guitars around frequently, tossing things into the back of a vehicle loaded with other gear, and so forth, I would recommend spending a bit more on something beefier.

I was looking for a nice gig bag for my cigar box guitar which is an inch or two longer than most CBG's. This bag is perfect. It easily fits, there's a Velcro strap to secure the neck, there's a good amount of padding, ample storage in several pockets and great carrying straps along with an option of using a loop strap located on top of the neck end of the bag to hang this bag on a hook, etc. It comes in a great variety of color choices and the price is awesomely affordable. This was a terrific find!

This bag was exactly what I needed. I purchased it to protect an Ibanez J.Custom I purchased in Japan on its return flight to the US. I didn't want anything too padded that I would have trouble fitting in the suit closet on an airplane, but I didn't want anything too thin that it wouldn't provide any protection to my guitar. To the credit of this case, and to the staff of Delta Airlines, my guitar made it back to the US without a single scratch. The best feature of this case, other than the perfect amount of padding for regular transport use, is the strap that holds the neck in place on the inside. This prevents the guitar from sliding, and banging around, inside of the case. I absolutely love this gig-bag and trust my guitars inside of it. I would not recommend this for travel if you are not handling the guitar yourself, as it is not going to offer the same protection as a foam lined hard-case will. So do not check your guitar in this or you will be disappointed. But for stuffing a guitar in an overhead bin or suit closet, it works wonders!

This gig bag is just the right size for my electric guitar, and its pockets are excellently sized to hold music books, iPads, cords, etc. It is lightweight, and there is a nice compliment of straps and handles you can use to carry it in a variety of ways. **In the Q&A section for this gig bag, there are multiple questions about whether this bag will work with semi hollow body electric guitars. This bag is definitely constructed for electric guitars, not the big acoustic guitars. I have an Ibanez AM73B electric semi hollow body guitar. It just barely fits, but it does. I would not imagine it would fit other guitars that are even 1/2" taller than mine. So I'm expecting there would be other semi hollow and hollow body electric guitars that it wouldn't work for, but thankfully, the bag is just barely tall enough for mine. If the dimensions work for your guitar, strongly encourage you to consider this bag!
