I have hard water. I mix it with the hard water lol. 4 parts water to 1 citric acid or more if you want. Spray on shower heads or take off and soak in a bowl. Or use it to add sourness to a cocktail 🤷‍♂️

I use this for cooking and also for cleaning stainless steel when it gets some of those hard water spots after a while. You just dissolve it easily in water. You can certainly get it cheaper other places, but as usual Amazon is the most convenient. Finally, even at highest concentrations citric acid is still a mild acid, so although you should be careful with it, having a drop splash on your hand won't be horrible!

Would have given five stars but when I received it, the bag it comes in was sliced open, so I'm not sure how much citric acid I lost in the shipping process. I think this a a great quality product though which is why it got 4 stars. I use citric acid in my homemade laundry detergent and I think between all the ingredients I use, the job gets done and I don't have to worry about stains!
