I needed a new weatherproof tablet for my motorcycle GPS.

This tablet is near perfect. The POGO-pins allow me to drop the tablet into a RAM Mounts RAM-HOL-SAM60PD2U which gives hardwired charging and adds two USB ports (if needed). The tablet itself has a replaceable battery, runs Android 11 and is quite readable in normal use.

Where is the battery?

I unboxed it, tried turning it on right away, and it didn't. I plugged it in, left it to sit for 40 minutes, came back, unplugged it, and tried turning it on again, no dice. I noticed the screen light up when I plugged it in originally so I knew it was working. I plugged it in for a second time, and it booted up. Unplugged it when it was at the setup menu and it immediately powered off. Opened the back panel of the tablet to see there was no battery inside... I guess NO Battery Mode is not an option, it just means NO Battery at all.

Kids tablet

I got this rugged tablet for my 3yo daughter, and I control it with FamilyLink.It works pretty well, and does exactly what I want it to do.Battery life is excellent. The device has held up really well against a very accident prone 3yo.
