My briquettes arrived quickly and in good shape only a few were cracked or chipped. Used the grill the other day. Everything seemed fine. Very satisfied so far.

This is the second time buying these. Have never received a broken one in the packages. These work great and we love that they come in a large enough quantity that we don't have to buy multiple at a time. Heart distribution is even in our propane bbq using these. Will definitely continue to buy as long as they are available

I have a natural gas grill running off the gas line of the house. Really convenient to not have to deal with buying propane tanks or charcoal. The briquettes only seem to last one grilling season as they really seem to break down pretty quickly when anything acidic or sugar ingredients like in BBQ drips down on them. Nice to find replacement briquettes that seemed to last longer than the ones I bought previously. But if you often cook on the grill and I do, these will break down like any other ones do, it's just how it goes.

The old briquettes in my gas grill were getting pretty bad as they were several years old so I decided it was time to replace them. I looked at Walmart but they didn't seem to have any. Once again, I turned to my old standby, Amazon. I didn't have a lot to spend at the time so I pretty much just chose the cheapest briquettes I could find and the price on the Mr. Bar B Q Briquettes was good. I made my order and crossed my fingers. The briquettes arrived and I was happy to find that they were all in one piece. I was afraid they might break up during shipping but they were packaged well enough to prevent that. I put them in my grill and was not entirely surprised to find that the box didn't quite contain enough briquettes to cover the whole thing, but it was close. There isn't really much to say about how the briquettes work: the fire hits them and they get hot just like any other briquette. It remains to be seen how they hold up over time. They're cheap so I'm not expecting any miracles but hopefully they'll last at least 5 years.

I rehabbed my Broilmaster gas grill earlier this spring, with new cooking grids, new burner, and these new ceramic briquettes. The gas grill industry has moved away from lava rocks and ceramic briquettes in recent years, so I was unable to find them locally. Thankfully, Amazon had what I needed to help make my grill like new again. These briquettes are smaller and denser than the original ones, which had begun to disintegrate with age. They distribute heat effectively with no more hot spots, and they help prevent flare-ups, caused by dripping grease. I can't yet speak to longevity, as they have only been in place for about a month, but in general, I am pleased with their performance.

The perfect solution for a gas grill! I had to manufacture for myself a sub grill rack to hold them, but now I have an even layer of these "briquettes" between the flame and the grilling rack. These make grilling as close to a charcoal you'll ever get: all of the advantages of charcoal; all of the conveniences of gas! The drippings catch on these briquettes and smoke wonderfully, giving food that fire-cooked flavor that is the raison d'être of a grill. Big plus: the quantity of drippings that makes it down through the briquettes to mess up the bottom of the grill is vastly reduced. Full marks!

These little briquettes are exactly what my old grill needed. It so much better now, heat is more even, and retains heat better, so it gets a little hotter. Awesome.
