Bought this a few months ago for my longer haired cats that are always shedding and one especially is prone to tangles and knots. I hated having to get the scissors out to cut the tangles off as it left patches in her hair so bought this set after reading reviews. I found that they are amazing and actually do the job and remove loads of hair ready to shed, the comb for the tangles is brilliant and able to tease out the clump of fur, but be careful you don’t tug too much as it can be painful for the cat. I also have an elderly short coat lady that seems not to be able to groom all the areas on her body any more and I was shocked just how much dead fur was under the top coat and some clumps too. I had to be especially gentle with her as she has no extra muscle or fat but her coat was much better and smoother after. Well worth the price , a great piece of kit

Fantastic grooming set! 🐾 Both the deshedding tool and dematting comb work perfectly on thick double coats like my Chow Chow and Japanese Akita Inu. They remove loose fur effortlessly and leave the coat soft and tidy. Great quality, easy to clean, and comfortable to hold. Highly recommended for heavy-shedding breeds!

Full disclosure my dogs fur isn't matted as I brush her every other day, however, she is a Golden Retriever with very thick long fur around her neck, chest and pants. This comb was amazing it has removed all tangles and thinned out the fur a great deal after just one use, its good quality and pretty sharp. Easy to use and hold. The rate or hair removal is unbelievable! The only suggestion I can make is that if you have a very furry dog like A goldie, shepherd or husky, use it outside. Don't make my mistake and "give it a go" in the living room, My front room looks like the scene in Gremlins when he spills water over the Mugwae lol fur balls everywhere!! I'm not convinced another dog didnt drop out or her coat and explode at one point ;)

I have a long haired cat and she's begun to moult and get tangles. She doesn't like this detangler, but I think that partly due to my inexpert handling if it! It works very well. I'm pleased with my purchase. It removes fur very well. Good weight and quality

We have a black labrador with very thick fur, especially across his shoulders. Normal dog brushes couldn't get through it properly. The Fur Magic Deshedding Tool is brilliant. It penetrates his fur and the difference has been amazing. Now his fur feels softer and less dense. It is easy to use on him and this makes a difference as our dog is rehomed and it doesn't seem he was groomed regularly by his previous owners, so it is something we are having to get him used to. I would definitely recommend this set.

Exactly what I was looking for this comb is well made and easy to grip.Ideal to use on my elderly cat who had developed matts in her coat.

UPDATE A FEW DAYS LATER: CAT LOVES BEING BRUSHED WITH THIS AND SAT NEXT TO ME AND LET ME DO IT. This is brilliant. Someone shampooed my cat and this year, poor thing got matted fur. I have had to shave some of them out. Cat hates being brished. Cat seemed to love the comb when it arrived today, until cat turned around and hissed. Yes, it removes he undercoat that gets knotted. Cat is so matted at the moment, cat angry with matted fur. Soft and Gentle and easy to use. Purchased with an offer on, as this brand I use for removing cat hair from clothes in washing machine and cat fur from carpets using the cricket bat style bush. I also use the large laundry bag to wash pet blankets and towels used for vet checks. Value for money, impressed. Had a different version of this brush not as nice designed and it was quite sharp, but this is perfect. Great handle and nice grip. Don't waste money on cheaper imitations, as it costs more in long run. Only wish the cat would stop being silly about a brush.

Not at all good product. Not very useful to brush the coat properly.

I have a long haired GSD and this is the only brush that I have found that gets deep into his coat and grabs all that old hair. I had tried other options but they were not as effective.

Worked on my Bassett Hound so well I got this one for my brother's cat. I am now Charlie the cat's favorite person. It feels so good to them. (I have filled a grocery bag full of hair ..... and both have just laid there and didn't want me to stop.
