Led Lighting Kit for The Friends Apartments - Compatible with Lego 10292 Building Blocks Model- Not Include The Lego Set

This was my first time to use a light kit for a LEGO set. I was initially apprehensive when I saw the product but I thought I should give it a try. Here's my experience with Lightailing's LED kit. Delivery & packaging: The delivery was fast considering my location. It arrived earlier than I expected and came in a small sturdy box with all the pieces individually sealed in plastic packets. The instructions and plastic packets were organized and labeled so it wasn't hard to identify which item I needed to install first. Instructions: The package came with a user guide which was generic terms used for all lighting kits as well as the specific instructions for the set. The user guide was quite helpful especially since I have not installed a light kit before. The instruction uses images of the actual set to which you are applying the light kit on to convey the instructions easily without using too much words. In this case, the instructions can be used by everyone even if they speak different languages. It showed all the steps including removing LEGO pieces, placement of the lights and wires, and reinstalling the LEGO pieces. This was a really helpful guide since I was applying the kit on a modified LEGO set. Materials: the materials were high quality. They were easy to install and connect as a complete circuit. All the LED lights lit up well and there were no broken pieces. When I placed the battery and turned on the kit, it immediately lit up, no hassle, no fuss. Conclusion: Lightailing kits are really good products and worth the money. They add extra details to the LEGO set which elevate it to the next level. This was my first light kit but will not be my last. I am definitely buying a few more kits for my MOC LEGO set.

Easy to assemble

The assembly time was too much. and it's too expensive. But it looks very nice after its finished.

While putting this together we are missing the one key part for everything to light up. Now it is past the return date. What do we do?

I was so happy to find this set. It takes quite a bit of patience and time, but the end result is amazing. Our apartments looked amazing until - I tried to move our finished build to another location. Unfortunately it was at this point those very weak, tiny stickers provided to hold on the battery pack let go bringing a board and wires with it. Now I have one apartment with working lights, and another with a single light lit. There is no way to repair this other than buying a new set. It really was fantastic the two times I used it. At this time it is nothing more than a bunch of wires hanging out of my Legos.

Product burned out while installing. The wires became hot and the lights would no longer work using the battery box provided.
