Pocket Folding Knife with 3.47" Damascus Blade Marble Carbon Fiber Handle, Button Lock Elementum Knife for EDC C2103DS-3

So Ill say this right away-I love this knife, at this point I regret not getting Damascus style of the blade but I was worried it’d be too nice for EDC. So the things I like about it: -its sleek design, it is thin compared to my other knives and is also light weight. -I really like the clip design where the clip starts at the very edge of it so when you clip it inside your pocket its almost disappears and less visible than other clip designs. -also it is probably the sharpest knife Ive gotten but to be fair this is the most expensive knife ive gotten so far. -since this is my first CIVIVI knife I am totally newbie to this opening mechanism and I must say I love it, loved it from first sight, the sound when the knife opens is so clean and satisfying you iust wanna keep playing with it. Another great thing that I like is -the size of the blade, its 3.5 which makes it decent size and not short blade closer to 3”, but I could definitely use another quarter of an inch to make it legal but still keep it under 4”, but thats just my thinking or even overthinking because by no means this knife feels small in your hand. I recommend and probably eventually will get the Damascus version if it will still be up for sale, but if not im definitely gona be getting another color or maybe even as a present. This has become my favorite pocket knife, enough that I purchased them for my sons as well. They love theirs as well. I LOVE the button-lock feature with the ball-bearing action. This allows a free and open ONE-HANDED opening and closing of the knife. To operate: Push the button in and slowly roll your and to allow the blade to smoothly rotate into position with gravity alone, either open or closed. No flicking, no force, no touching of the blade whatsoever, no need for a second hand. The blade is high quality Japanese knife steel that keeps its edge with minimal touch-ups to keep it sharp. I've sharpened it about once a year, and have had it for several years going through many boxes. The belt clip holds up and the overall weight is light enough I don't mind it at all. Air travel is the only time it leaves my side!

This is my personal EDC knife. Smooth opening, and exceptionally sharp right out of the box. Slices nicely, and has excellent edge retention. Absolutely beautiful Damascus pattern in the steel. I really love the push-button locking system. It allows me to draw the blade very quickly, but also safely. After carrying this knife all day long, every single day, since I originally bought it many months ago, I am actually thoroughly impressed. I use it around 30 times per week to cut/slice all sorts of various materials. Everything from heavy packing straps (the steel wire re-enforced kind that you might find on very large, heavy packages 100+ lbs), to packing tape from opening simple packages, or even just slicing an apple to eat for lunch at work. It simply cuts beautifully, and feels just as good while doing so. I have tested this knife on several other foods as well (steak, chicken, peaches, pears, plums, salad tomato's etc...) It slices amazingly well all the way around. Perfectly capable of regularly producing legitimately "paper thin" slices (with a steady, skilled hand) right out of the box. I bought a second one simply to have a backup, in the rare case that I lose the original. That is how much I love this knife. It has served me very well, has made many hundreds of cuts/slices for me already, even after only a few months, and I absolutely trust it to continue doing its job for the very long term future, with very basic care, and simple edge maintenance.

I knew this when I ordered it, but I didn't realize how much I'd miss it. This version of the Elementum does not have the flipper tab on the back. You unlock it by pressing the button and the blade will drop with gravity and you can flick it open. I miss the flipper. I also own the smaller Elementum 2, which I love. Great value knife. The action is smooth. I only wish it had the flipper.

This review should stand out! I looked back at my purchase history. I have now bought over 30 of these knives. I own an electrical contracting company and for 4 years I have been buying these for my guys for Christmas and I own 3 or 4 for myself. These are high quality knives! They hold their sharp edge extremely well even with daily use. The clip needs retightened occasionally but I were it every day! All my guys love them, they look awesome, perform awesome and come in so many styles I have been able to customize the knife to fit my employee's style. This picture is of my daily carry after 2 years, bought it Dec 2023 and I have never sharpened this one. Highly recommend!

First off I can’t believe the reviewers dinging this knife because it doesn’t have a flipper or the tip broke because they pried something. I bought this knife specifically because it is button lock only with no flipper or studs. Very clean. Quality is outstanding for a $60 knife. Action locks closed and open. The clip worked well as it was, but I recontoured it to be more comfortable in the hand. But that’s not a ding, I do that with a lot of my knives’ clips. Just a personal thing. Blade is sharp and I can’t see it underperforming with normal use. I’m initially very happy.

La navaja es muy buena. Civivi se carateriza por ofrecer buena calidad en general, las imágenes de la empuñadura de micarta la hacen ver fenomenal, pero ya en vivo no llega a tener esa calidad tan buena. Sigue siendo una buena navaja pero no le doy 5 estrellas por eso
