Q: Can you hang 1 bike vertically on this stand?

I bought this years ago. Removed 1 holder and turned the remaining holder vertically and moved it higher up. Was then able to hang the bike vertically. Its works like new with no problem what so ever. Check with the manufacturer if this current model still allows for that. From the photo, I am guessing it will.

Q: Can this be used on a ceiling that is on an angle such as one found in a storage shed?

Hello, yes you can but its a little tricky. I recommend you to put it against the edge of the shed. The top and bottom pad are able to tilt so it works with a slight angle ceiling. My recommendation you make sure its not a flat slippery surface.
