Just moved in to a new-to-me home built in the 1970s. Had the floors refinished and new base cove and door moldings installed. The old door knobs were a an eye sore and screamed "old" due to their faded and over used appearance. I installed these about a month ago and was thrilled to see you could swap the handles from the back-to-front so they match up (OCD) with the others facing the same way. I love the look and feel of these. I did use one on the closet door and kept the twist lock on the outside of the hall. Very happy with the result. They open and close easily and I feel like this was a huge upgrade to my new home :) love them and hope they last for years to come. If not, I'll follow up in this review.

Like that there is a set screw on the handles allowing them to be swapped (some reviews show handle falling off) just tighten the set screw with the provided allen key. Attractive. I had rounded plates on my door and the mechanism on this is square. Razor knife fixed the corners easily. Thought it had a key but Nope.

So easy to install! Did NOT disappoint. You will be glad you made this purchase, promise.Feels very good from having a know beforehand. Sturdy. Great quality. I am confident that this will last for a LONG time if not as long as you decide to change something up without question! Love these!!!!

Not the greatest quality, but not the worst either. It does not with all the hardware and screws needed and the matte black does look good. It just isn’t the smoothest turn of a handle.

First off, these are made easy to unlock, incase of an emergency, so you can use a flat-blade screwdriver, a dime, or other flat object that fits into the slot… BUT, if you are like the lady, and “WANT COMPLETE UNINTERRUPTED PRIVACY”, you can find “Self-Adhesive Screw Hole Stickers on amazon for $5-$10 in various sizes, to strict over the outside slot, somewhat camouflaging it, which will give you both a little added security by concealing the slot, while still giving someone access, “IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY”, by simply removing the sticker, or pushing a screwdriver/dime through the sticker…Both my Bride of 53-years and I are Extremely Pleased with our New Gobrico Door Handles…Thanks to both Gobrico and amazon for offering these High-Quality items….
