This monitor is amazing, possibly not the cheapest on the market, but the visuals are second to none, and well worth the asking price. Comes well packaged, I mention this because in the past I have had broken monitors, this is far more superior. I also really like the hardened cover to slip the monitor into, even comes with a plug ( wall charger) as well as all the separate leads. Even has the reverse charging function. The portable monitor full function USB port type C port only, just connect your device to the display screen then power the display using the wall charger The device compatibility is good and can be used for an array of devices, to include mobile phones, iPad Pro, laptops with PD protocol. The input voltage 5V - 20V Input electric current 1A - 4A. All the instructions are within the box, also a colour chart to show the vivid colours, please see my images. Great for gaming, and would make a lovely gift for Christmas, birthdays etc. However…….. If you are not into gaming, but want a monitor because for example you haven’t a separate TV in the bedroom, or spare room, going on holidays etc. The monitor is fantastic to watch TV. Once plugged in, I put in my fire stick and brought up you tube, even a TV programme via the stick. So if you have a stick for Now TV, fire stick or a NVIDIA shield, all will work.. I have shown a little video of some of the colours and the images on the monitor, however please remember if will be better in person as opposed to me recording. A good quality ultra portable monitor that is really thin and lightweight. Plenty of connections to cover todays methods. The build quality is great along with the included cover and kickstand. The screen has a built in kickstand that does the job as it is. The only thing that would have been nice would be if it was magnetic. I used this with my M1 iPad Pro and the displayed image was superb with no ghosting or stuttering. It even reverse charged the iPad when connected via usb C. The iPad unfortunately wasn’t powerful enough to drive the display but I expect that’s normal Overall its a great bit of kit

I've owned and reviewed a few NexiGo products before, and have always been impressed with the design and manufacturing quality. This 2.5k 144hz 16" Portable Gaming Monitor is no exception. There are a couple of very minor issues that I am going to get out of the way first. One is that it is a little bit heavier than I would like for it to be fully portable. It weighs nearly the same as my MacBook Pro. Second, there are several cables, with two USB-C to USB-C cables. One has a flimsy label stating "Power Cable", and I suspect that label will come off. It would have been better to have had colour-coded cables. Those two minor issues aside, the perks are amazing. Firstly, it comes well packaged, without being over-the-top. The instructions manual is clear and easy to follow, with details of how to set up with different devices (e.g. phone, hand-held gaming device, laptop etc.), and with clear instructions on how to adjust the monitor's brightness and contrast etc. I've tested this NexiGo monitor with the following devices, an iPhone 12 and a MacBook Pro. Picture quality is outstanding for a portable monitor. I used it to extend my MacBook for office-based working, and it has made a real difference in being able to use two screens at once. I have also used it for gaming to improve the screen size (my MacBook is 13", so having a few more inches makes a great difference). And I have used it to watch streaming services via my iPhone. I have had no issues with lag or flickering. The monitor does provide a nice clear and stable image. I have a hybrid role, so I will mainly be using the monitor as a second screen when I am on business trips, and I am reassured by the great magnetic cover that the monitor will be protected when in my luggage. Other than the two minor issues, this is an amazing portable monitor, and one that I highly recommend.

Great spec monitor. Used for playing my Xbox wirelessly in a different room in the house Good stand for rear of monitor and the refresh rate for gaming is impressive. It’s not 4k only 2.5K but it’s such an impressive amount for a portable monitor of this price. Recommended

This is a really great versatile portable monitor. The features it packs are quite amazing for something that is packaged up in a nice neat 16" monitor. The main features are 144hz so that means a super smooth experience, providing the device your linking it from is capable of providing 144hz. Freesync and GSync compatible is also an excellent addition meaning if you're linking from a PC or laptop regardless if you're AMD or NVIDIA GFX card you'll get to take advantage of these. Again meaning a super smooth experience. HDR support is again a fantastic addition at this price and again providing the device you're using is compatible in providing HDR you'll get this benefit. Brightness is also pretty good, states peak brightness at bring 500nits, which is good. I'd have liked a little more on paper. But when using the monitor it provides plenty of brightness and I've not yet had any issues using it. The display is crisp and clear the picture quality is excellent. I've mostly been using it as a little addition to my PC. I may expand and try other areas in due course such as my mobile, but so far so good. It linked up to my PC no issues using the HDMI port, literally takes seconds to connect up. Comes with a nice little kickstand which pops out the back and a cover to ensure it is safe and sound. Speakers are also on the device and are perfectly acceptable and should provide enough reasonable levels of sound quality. The price is probably the only sticking point. It is expensive. I paid less for my 27" monitor with similar features. However given the portability of this meaning it can be used for a wide range set of circumstances, perhaps when travelling linked up to a phone or maybe a 2nd monitor for your laptop when travelling also. As well as being perfectly suited to gaming too. Overall I've been very happy with this portable monitor and yes I'd recommend it and can't not give it 5*s.

Amazing little monitor for sure, super compact and the 1440p resolution looks great with the size of the screen. It does have little speakers built in and though these aren’t super loud, they are good enough for most peoples needs. I was initially going to use this as a second monitor for my gaming laptop but decided to use it as a kitchen TV/Monitor linked upto my android TV box. It’s just about the perfect size for YouTube cooking tutorials and doubles as a second monitor for my laptop if I’m using it in the kitchen. I have mounted this onto the kitchen wall using double sided tape. May not sound like a safe way of mounting but the monitor is so thin and light that I don’t see this coming off any time soon. Power consumption is another positive point for this monitor, I have it plugged into the included USB adapter using a 3 in one cable; the power consumption of this alone is around 10-14w. When combined with the android TV box I’m getting 16-18w which is within the limits of the included adapter. As this monitor also supports 144hz refresh rate, gameplay is super smooth and the 1440p(2.5k) resolution combined with the compact size makes for an all round good experience. You can attach the monitor to an output device with a HDMI cable or use one of the USB-C ports. There’s also a USB-A port on one side which allows you to connect and charge other devices. Bear in mind that the total power draw cannot be greater than the maximum capability of the adapter as this can cause heat damage to the adapter plug. Overall it’s a great little monitor that is relevant to multiple applications. If you are wanting a high refresh rate and better than 1080p resolution then this is definitely one to consider. With it being so thin you can even use the monitor for a project. DIY all in one mini gaming setup? Impressed.

We used this for a week on holiday for the switch in a caravan to free up the tv for the adults and it’s really good. The quality is superb, it’s bright and vibrant, using the switch there was no blurring or pixilation on Mario Kart or anything else. It’s thin so easy to carry around in with the laptop in the bag and easy to connect up. I didn’t have to do anything with the settings it seemed to sort itself out or it was auto configured to some good settings. I tried it with my laptop as well which actually made my laptop screen as a second screen look pretty rubbish, I also put a google dongle into it and used it to stream the football as well in a classy Dad holiday move watching football in the bedroom with maybe some alcohol maybe. It’s big enough to watch things in, amusingly it wasn’t much smaller than the puny caravan TV. Excellent quality and it has many uses, the kids had a four player kart session going sitting about 3 feet from the screen and didn’t moan once about the size. Very pleased with this as a screen.
