The gel is great. It not only hardens, but even after brushing or combing it out, my hair stays straight. One MAJOR criticism of the tube though- the cap does not stay on. Open up the flip top and chances are, the entire top comes off and a pile of gel gets all over the place. That needs to be fixed.

Perfect strength and the smell is amazing.

Easy to use, while it works for my sister who has thicker hair, it does not work for me. I have fine 4c hair and it doesn’t hold my hair, it also leave flakes.

I have this Gummy Gel in a large container on my bathroom vanity & I love the hold & scent of it. I bought this tube for traveling, it’s not the same consistency, it’s not as thick and will run out of the tube when turned over. The hold & scent are the same, I just wish it was not so runny

This is great for traveling, perfect size and the gummy gel is the best gel out the, ive used several gels and this one holds the best and does not flake love it!

I recently discovered that Joico discontinued their ICE Spiker brand of hair glue and came across this product. I had such high hopes based on the reviews, but the product smells horrible and is incredibly thin. It would not spike my hair up at all, and the claims of being an extreme hold are deceptively superlative. This product is a gross, red colored, thin gel. It is not a hair glue in any way and definitely won't spike or hold your hair up like a glue will. This is more like a grocery store LA Looks type gel.

Bought this for my husband who had the bigger version in the tub container. So not the same. Do not recommend as it can’t even do half of what the other one did as far as holding hair all day in place.
