wire brush for drill

I had some batteries frozen and stuck in a Maglite Mini flashlight. It took a while to unstick the batteries and to remove them but I finally got that done. There is a lot of residue inside the flashlight that will have to be removed. The wall internally is caked with dried battery corrosion. These rotary brushes are the exact size of the inside tube of the Maglite Mini so they will work to clean the stuff out. I'm waiting for our weather to improve to work on the tube. The package contains five rotary brushes that can used with a drill driver. I probably will never use all five of them but glad that I have more than one brush. They hold up very well.

I bought these to scale rust before paint. They work great with a cheap battery drill! Just don't turn them counterclockwise; the bristles are twisted in-between two twisted wires. If you turn it counterclockwise, it loosens and they start falling out. First one didn't last too long, the second couple lasted a long long time.

I've used brushes like these before they work well for me. The price is good as well.

Does the job, but the brush comes apart very fast. By the time I was done cleaning the bores on 1 bracket, 1/2 the bristles had come off. Plan on 1-1.5 wheels per brush.

The wires wear out quickly. Trying to clean a single treadle base and they didn’t last 5 minutes. Have to be careful not to be forceful. Work ok but even using on slow speed they flex easily and break. Good for single use but not durable.

The bristles wore off after 5 minutes of use. The second one I tried snapped in half within a few seconds. Poor quality.
