Saved money, it worked as intended and the car feels better overall after replacing the Cracked PCV seal. I bought 2 just in case.

19 X3 m40i. Smoke and train whistle after letting it idle for a while. Pulled the original diaphragm and there was a slit in it. Broke the stock cap when removing and got worried because I saw reviews saying this cap didn’t fit right. But it fit perfectly, nice and tight just like stock. Gonna buy a couple extra. Hongwin for the win!! PS: your car will smoke for another 20-30 min after install, just drive it and the rest of the oil will burn off in the exhaust and then no more smoke👍🏻

This kit worked great for my BMW B58 PCV cover. Once replaced the noise and the white smoked stopped. Great value for your money and easy to install.

Fantastic! Cheapest and easiest engine repair ever. Did you get the SQEEEEEE and smoke in your BMW? Sounded expensive, right? This is probably what you need. The original plastic cap cracked during removal (common) so it's good this includes one. Your OEM spring is probably reuseable, but this includes one. Small and cheap enough to keep a spare in the toolbag.

Perfect quick and easy fix for a smoking bmw b58 ! This product was recommended on bmw message boards. My wife's bmw started puking white smoke and whistling while idling one day. Easy replacement . Problem solved

Update: I had to buy another pcv valve kit from this seller because the first one failed before 3 months. Note that I was only able to change the membrane. This time I wanted to use the new pcv cap but the second one did not fit as well. This time the membrane had a side that was uneven and the seal moved everytime I tried to close the gap causing a leak.

I used the B58 Gen 1 part from a 2017 340i and it didn't work. The diaphragm and everything else works, but the cap doesn't fit. As soon as you accelerate, it suddenly comes loose.

Rubber membrane, spring and plastic cap fit like oem, but the top cap that replaces pcv valve is loose, and does not fit properly, so if you do plan on replacing your b58 pcv I highly recommend that you use your existing cap.
