Great product
Works very well. 100% sunscreen block for me, and I am very fair. The applicator keeps from getting sand in your product. Applies like a deodorant stick.

It works well, not clear, but bright white
Zinka works well. This stick is easy to carry in a backpack and easy to apply. I think it is a little misleading to call it clear because still appears pretty white on your skin. You can rub it in pretty well and it will mostly blend into your skin, but if you are buying Zinka you shouldn't be expecting a clear product! This stuff is know for it's ability to protect you from the sun and stay on your skin while you are in the water. That said, this is much less white than the bright white Zinka. My teen son preferred this while he spent a week at lifeguard camp. It protected his nose and cheeks, but didn't make him feel like a little kid with bright zinka face.

Good product
My kids use this on their face. It stays white and protects at the beach. This is the only stuff that stays on. It’s pure zinc. Safer for skin. Water resistant. Thumbs up.

Now I know what .49 oz. looks like
I purchased the .49 oz. Zinka solid sunscreen. I didn't correctly envision what half an ounce of sunscreen would look like, but now I know. It's smaller than I expected, but the up side is that it will fit nicely into a purse or pocket. When I opened it up, some moisture leaked out. Since it has a light coconut smell to it, I assumed it was coconut oil that had separated from the solid. I tried it first in my hand. It's white in solid form, but then went on clear with a little shininess. I was concerned it would remain oily, but it did absorb after a few minutes and made my skin feel soft. I used some on my face. I'm sensitive to perfumes, so I worried that having that coconut smell on my face would be overwhelming. It was fine. I bought this because it's mineral-based instead of chemical-based and, therefore, a clean, non-toxic option. Amazingly, it's clear, even though it's made of zink oxide. (Remember lifeguards with thick, white coats of zink oxide on their noses?) I like that it comes in stick form, so I don't have to apply it with my hands.

Works great! Not greasy!
I live at the beach and go through a lot of sunblock. Lots of fads and gimmicks and I found this one on Amazon. It works great, doesn’t burn my eyes or leave my skin feeling clammy and all caked up. And zinc oxide is allegedly not as bad for the environment. A plus!

Zinc. White.
Convenient. Travel size. Has zinc and remains white wherever you apply it on.

Not what it claims to be...
Bought two of the "clear" face sticks. It isn't clear. It's white. Like chalk white. Why sell a white & clear if they are both white? Opened both already so I'm sure I won't be able to return them. Lesson learned to not buy from them again.

Awesome stuff!
I originally found this on vacation at OBX. It is the only stuff that works on my son's face. It goes on clear which I love and the stick makes it super fast to apply. This year I didn't have any at the beginning of the season and my son got really burned so I went and bought some...we were sharing that OBX house with other families and all the other moms used it for their kids for the rest of the week. As soon as I got home, I realized ours was almost gone because of it's communal use :) I ordered some from here right away. It came quickly and even with the shipping cost, it was about .05 less than at the surf shop. 1 stick will typically last 1 child the entire summer. Hope this helps.
