I bought this for my son for his birthday and we find it to be pretty accurate, but you have to have an almost perfectly steady hand in order to get an accurate reading. In comparison to other similar products price wise it matches up pretty well. I'd recommend it but you really need 2 hands to keep it steady..

This rangefinder is solid for the price, I has a great two years with it, but after two years the battery compartment seems to have shrunk in some way and I can’t change the battery anymore, which renders it useless. It’s definitely an odd issue, and I’m not sure if it’s related to a battery defect, but I only used the provided batteries.

i'll give it 4 stars, since it is quite functional for its price. however, it's not a great rangefinder, as expected. it sometimes gives random yardages and is difficult to accurately select the flag.

After reading some of the reviews I was worried but so far it seems to be accurate. I compared it with my uncle's range finder and they both showed the same distances. Occasionally it is difficult to lock onto the flag, and sometimes it takes a few tries to get the correct distance, so that is why I gave it 4 stars.
