Q: How thick is the spine, in mm?

It is very thin. I have to sharpen this knife regularly with just a handheld sharpener. When freshly sharpened it will cut very thin slices of apples or whatever. I like the knife and it is a go to for most vegetable slicing, dicing etc. The spine is very thin but sturdy.

Q: Does this come with a knife guard for storage? If not, how wide is knife so right size can be purchased. Any recommendations on knife guard?

NO! my biggest complaint and it is wide so guard may have to be larger than expected. I cannot ever remember a knife I have bought coming without a guard. Blade is wicked sharp so be careful. Open plastic package at your peril. Total BS.

Q: Is this a full tang or partial tang knife?

I don't know for sure. The handle is one piece, so you cannot see the edges, but there are three rivets that indicate it is a full tang. The knife is very sharp and passes the paper cut test. I use it every day with no issues.
