I give 5 stars with the caveat that I don't know how good the product is going to be yet, how well it is going to last, since I have only just installed it, but it does seem to be acceptable quality, probably not less than half the quality of the BMW OEM, seems to be fairly the same, and even if it were only half the quality, the product is 1/4 the price of the OEM, so if I have to purchase it again in 3-5 years, that's only still half the cost of purchasing the OEM, so I expect that this purchase will have been worth much more than the cost of the item.

Great product. It fit on the hood with the grommets it comes with perfectly (on my E46, not sure about other models).

My original 1987 BMW hood badge came off on the freeway and was damaged. Bought this one and it is a perfect match for the original. Easy to install.
