They aren’t just regular plastic coverings which is awesome…breathable softer.

The thicker fabric is nice, the pillow cases don't slide around. I appreciate the durability, and softness. These are not the plastic ones, so they are not hot, and do not make any noise. Other people say they held air, but you can let the air out before you finish zipping them up. I don't routinely use fabric softener, I use vinegar in the rinse cycle, and they removes organic smells from wash. These washed and dried well, and there hasn't been any undesirable smells.

Haven’t had long enough to know effectiveness on allergy or other purpose of protect. But I was disappointed I couldn’t dry them with rest of laundry but they take a full load anyhow and dry quickly. Could tell the water resistant after washing it. With 10 year standard warranty I’m hoping it a quality product. It hasn’t disappointed yet!

Waited a long time to make the purchase, and have been very glad every night since doing so. The quality is extraordinary and the knowledge that I am sleeping on pillow-cases that promote better Hygiene while being simple to maintain is great. My pillows were small for the size, but that posed little problem, plus, I've decided it's time to expand the comfort zone for my head at night and am now looking at new pillows to go with the new cases. Glad I purchased the larger size. It is time for new ones (pillows). I'd recommend these cases to anyone. A good gift for a friend or loved one. Clean fresh sleep is a good thing.

Protective pillow covers definitely met my expectation. They are quiet. Some protective covers have a plastic type marital on the inside that crinkles and is noisy, but these are soft, quiet and comfortable. Terry cloth type exterior makes them soft. I haven't tried to see just how water proof they are. I have 2 dogs that occasionally sleep on my bed and muddy paws and dog drool will ruin pillows. So far, no problems. They arrived fast. I didn't thoroughly read the description, my fault and I didn't realize there was 2 per pack, so I accidentally ordered extras. Usually with King size covers, they come 1 per pack. I was pleasantly surprised to get 2. Next time i'll read the description better. Trust, me, more than I expected is NOT a problem.

I’m always amazed at the one star reviews when I actually receive the product and give it the personal test. I’m not sure where all of the “plastic, bad smell, crackling, stiff, won’t keep the pillow case on came from but there they are on the web. None of these things are actually true with the product I received and I have slept on them for approximately a week now. No smell no noise and the product functions like the description states. Just my two cents for what that’s worth. I really cannot understand where these other folks are getting their terrible product from because it does not resemble the one I received.

At first, these pillow protectors seemed very nice. However, once on the pillows, they are a bit noisey when you move your head. I removed them and washed them to see if washing would reduce the noise. When you wash them, you must remember to turn them inside out, otherwise they are like bags of water when you remove them from the washing machine. Once dry, I attempted to put them back onto the bed pillows but ran into problems. I could not get the zippers to work because of hundreds of tiny threads along the zipper line. I did get one to zip closed but gave up on the rest. The return date was past so I donated them and bought new, non waterproof protectors that I am happy with. At this price point, these waterproof proctors were disappointing.
