They are the best brand for me. I had bunion surgeries and plantar fasciitis. I can’t walk barefoot. I put them in Easy Spirit house slippers. It really helps walking in the house or standing in the kitchen for too long. When I go hiking, I put them in my hiking shoes. If you have problem feet, you need thick and hard structure so they help balance your pressure with the high arch support. I have 2 pairs: for house slippers at work and at home.

Of course, like shoes, which insert is best is very subjective. I have very high arches and need very firm support and these work best for me. They are somewhat rigid and thick, so if a pair of shoes is on the verge of tight, they would not fit and I order the shoe 1/2 size up. If the shoes are on the verge of loose, I get my usual size shoe. I wear an 8 1/2 or 9 wide shoe and the 9 (men’s 7) is the right size for me. These are the most rigid of the company’s various types, so you can get something softer if you prefer. They will not fit into dress shoes- there is a thinner version for that, which I haven’t tried yet. I only need to replace them every 6 to 9 months, which is a very long time for me, since I use them every day, take long walks and stand for most of my work day. I have a pair of these in every shoe I routinely wear and move a pair to any shoes I don’t frequently wear. They have made an enormous improvement for low back, foot, and knee pain.

These are far the best inner soles I've bought and used in my work boots. Especially once they have been heated up and moulded to your foot.... Don't have an feet, ankle or knee issues using these now. Even when I'm on my feet for 8+ hours...

I've tried several inserts ... noting that if I don't use them for my high arches, that I get plantar fasciitis very easily (excruciating!). Even the high end name brand ones don't put any extra height or support in their so-called high-arch support, but SOLE does! SOLE is the only one that I will use!
