This brush is just perfect! Let’s start with appearance. The color palette is a hue of copper with mixed satin and matte finishes. It’s aesthetically beautiful. In terms of function, the brush is amazing and super easy to use. The plastic handle is encased in a silicone rubber which has a soft buttery smooth texture that feels great in the hand. The brush’s bristles are embedded in a flexible pillow which allows the bristles to flex as they glides over your scalp ensuring a consistent contact throughout the brush stroke. The brush bristles have an ion coating technology which transfers the brush’s ions to your hair with each brush stroke. Once transferred to your hair, these ions help to reduce frizz while visibly increasing your hair’s shine leading to an overall improved health of your hair. From an ergonomic perspective, the brush fits great in the hand and doesn’t cause any pain or discomfort from long time use. Its weight is balanced, allowing it to feel like an extension of your arm. The brush can be used in both a dry hair state or a wet hair state. I often use the brush after a shower, while blow drying helping my hair transition from wet to dry. The brush does not soak up or hold any liquid during this time. The brush’s construction seems to be very sturdy. I expect this brush to last many years with the right maintenance and cleaning. In summary, I highly highly recommend this brush as it has changed my hair game for the better. It even caused me to branch out and buy other similar Olivia Garden hair brushes. I never thought I’d own over $100 worth of hair brushes, but it’s the best money I’ve ever spent!

I'm a long-time user of Olivia Garden thermal brushes which is why I sprung for this paddle. Not only is it esthetically pleasing, it detangles hair seemingly effortlessly, with very little pulling and hair loss. I have long, medium hair but I have a ton of it, and tangling has always been an issue, given that weighing my hair down down too much conditioner isn't a viable option either if I want body in my hair. I've used it for months now, no damage no missing or broken spokes. Oh, and it's a thermal brush, meaning you can use it for blow drying (I do not, preferring to use my round OG brushes for volume). The retractable sectioning pick is a bonus too, all their brushes come with this. Olivia Garden brushes are truly a worthwhile investment. You won't regret this purchase.

I have many of Olivia Garden ceramic brushes. Love them all. This brush is great for straightening curly wavy grey streaked hair and leaving it smooth and shiny even when in a humid tropical climate. I highly recommend this product.

I bought it for my daughter. She is biracial and has mixed hair. She 10 years old and used it by herself and likes it. She prefers the mixed chick brush, but I'm having a hard time finding them right now. So this was is a good replacement for now.
