Decent quality

I bought the ANMBEST DB25 solder connector breakout kit (5 male + 5 female) for wiring and troubleshooting CNC controls and RS-232 signal work. These are extremely convenient to have in the shop. What I like: Screw-terminal breakout — no soldering required Makes prototyping and rewiring fast and clean. Clear labeling on each pin Cuts way down on wiring mistakes. Includes both male and female connectors So you’re covered for different machine/control ports. Protective cases included Keeps connections secure and prevents shorts. Good value for a 10-piece kit at this price I’ve already used these to test serial communication and build custom interface cables, and they made the job MUCH easier than dealing with raw connectors. Tight screw clamps, solid strain relief, and the shells fit together well. Shop tip: Use ferrules or tin the wire ends for the best grip in the terminals. If you work with CNC controls, PLCs, industrial I/O, or RS-232 gear, this kit is absolutely worth having in the drawer. Saves time, keeps wiring neat, and just works. Would definitely buy again.

This kit gets a 3-1/2 to 4-stars. First of all, the packaging is wonderful. They carefully organized everything into the little pidgeon holes in the carry box to keep things organized. The reason it is a 4 and not a 5 is that I was expecting solder-cup terminals. These were more like flat tabs that were pretty difficult to get aligned to solder. Not happy overall on that front. Second complaint is that the pin numbers are not embossed in the plastic body of the connector. Every other connector I have worked with had the pins numbered to help you when prototyping since you may not remember the sequence for the male vs female side of the connector. For the price, it is ok.

These replacement DB9's do the job. Great to have on hand. Good price

Item is as described. Arrived on time. Could have been packaged a little better as the plastic container was broken in shipping, but did not lose any of the small screws or nuts. Overall a very good transaction.

They hold up well as long as they are not overheated when soldering wires to the pins. The back-shells are light weight but are quite adequate for the project I am using them for. As with any connector that is filled with some type synthetic material, be extremely careful when soldering the wires to the pins.

I like this kit but the connectors themselves are cheap and the quality of the solder cups is not great. Also these things start melting if your not fast at soldering. If it starts to melt the pins will move on the male connectors.
