MacroMeal - Vegan Complete Plant Based Protein

So I bought this to meal supplement and hope I can shed a few pounds. I also bought a smoothie book to make this a full blown meal. When you add a spinach a frozen banana some oats, water and ice it tastes like a genuine smoothie! I am so happy with this product because it’s non GMO, it tastes good mixed with other good food for you and I was full for the entire lunch window! I’ll be buying the vanilla and plain as well. I haven’t tried it by itself, but that wasn’t my goal when purchasing.

Provides veggie and fruit nutrition as well as protein. AND the flavor is really good.

I know some may complain that it may not taste like a milkshake - it isn’t a milkshake so… It has everything you need: protein, MCT oil (good fat), and superfoods. I mix this in a small blender (a shaker bottle works good, too) with Amino Energy watermelon, Greens + Organic Superfoods wild berry. I take it for the nutritional value and it keeps me full. I do intermittent fasting, taking this in the morning helps start my day right. If I eat regular breakfasts, I’m hungry all day. If I’m going on a road trip, I’ll make one shake up the night before and freeze it (I don’t want to stop to eat fast food). I like it, I never expected it to taste like a milkshake.

It had almost no taste. I had to add four tablespoons of cocoa powder to the one serving in order to get any chocolate taste at all. I also couldn't find any vitamin information on the label. Because I'm a vegan, I need to make sure that I get vitamin b12. Since there was no information on the label, I looked it up in the Cronometer diet tracking app. Cronometer showed almost no vitamins in the product, and certainly no vitamin b12. The taste is just bland. It's not terrible.

The powder being vegan is easier to digest but I find that when mixing with water the powder never fully dissolves and leaves a grainy texture that I do not find particularly enjoyable. The flavor is not the best I’ve had but I will continue to use it because of it being a plant based protein.

All protein powder adds a chalky texture and flavor for me, but this is the best I've ever used. A similar pea protein product had way less nutrients, 5g less protein, and no added superfoods and probiotics. This is highly recommended. Be careful though, the other vegan one they have has a stevia aftertaste that this one doesn't. so make sure you get this one instead.

love it, my boyfriend who has alot of food allergies ( nuts, gluten, dairy) loves it and i think it helps him achieve optimal protein in take for the day because he is 6' 4 and hard to fill up with food! mixes great in smoothies
