No one is going to make fun of you for wearing this pack. It's sleek, black, low profile, but it still holds what I need to carry. Multiple front pouches, a divider in the main compartment, makes it great to store various things for easy access. Material seems durable, not cheap or flimsy. Did I mention this pack looks good?

I've had bags made by this manufacturer before. They make disc golf bags and other stuff. Great quality canvas and stitching. I cut off some of the extra snaps...i prefer velcro so i added that in places where i felt it worked better. I can recommend as a grab-n-go medical or ammo bag. not a ton of space, but fits great around the waist with a medium sized back pack on as well. (I have the Kriega R25 motorcycle backpack). back pocket is good for documents, large band aids etc. It also fits 9mm double stack magazines very well. I could probably fit 11-15 in the whole thing if needed, with side pockets still available for other items.

My goal wasn't to find a fanny pack, I wanted a front-belt pack and this fit the bill pretty well. I wear a pretty nice pack while hiking/scouting and I really like it. But I'm always fishing for things in it like calls, replacement GPS battery, wind indicator, etc. I've tried a few small organizer pouches on the side straps, but none come forward far enough for what I need. This waist pack is "pretty good". It has the three front pockets you see, a larger top/center pocket, and a slim one behind that, against your belly (money storage?) The front pocket isn't big enough to fit my phone, and the two left/right pockets are as triangular as you see - I'm not sure how I'll actually organize stuff into them because with their shape, nothing really fits other than a few small knick-knacks. HOWEVER, the large central pouch definitely fits a call or two, a snack, and my battery charger. And my phone fits into a top "sleeve" I guess you would call it - if you look at the photo of the top, where the large velcro pouch is... that's actually an extra loop of material and you can stuff things under it. My phone fits under it pretty well. (Not the elastic loops - it has those as well. The velcro fabric strip.) As far as waist packs go this is pretty comfortable. I'm not putting more than a pound or so of stuff in it so it's not putting any load on my - the heavy stuff is in my actual pack. I put this on first (and keep it on even while resting) and my pack goes on over/around it without interference. My pack waist strap rides on my hips, underneath this one, which I keep on my actual waist. One nice touch is the molle loops left/right. I wouldn't hang anything heavy on them because it would transfer the weight really awkwardly. But it would certainly hold one or two small pouches, like a knife and/or flashlight holster or small organizer. One WEIRD touch is the carabiner. Why do all these manufacturers include these things? These light aluminum ones aren't for climbing and can't carry much load, and I can't imagine what I would hang on a waist pack anyway. If I want a carabiner I'll buy a good one. It's the highest-quality one I've gotten with a purchase like this... but still useless...
