Perfect for and emergency kit. Works as expected
No thrills and whistles. A basic item that should be in any emergency kit. Comes with fire tablets but a small fire with wood chips also did the job. Super compact and lightweight. No more needs to be said.

awesome stove
great compact survival stove, fuel tablets come in plain plastic bags though so youll need to put them in your own resealable baggies

Basically Idiotproof
Doesn't come with instructions, but it is basically idiot proof. Tablets take a minute to light up but once they catch the flame is quick and the size is perfect for easy storage. The tablets provided fold neatly inside too, so it'll live in my junk drawer until i need it for camping or my power goes, lol. Probably don't use it for a prolonged period inside, the fume isn't strong with just the few seconds i kept it going, but it is unpleasant and warning labels state that it's not advisable, especially with the smoke. Blows right out.

Great little stove for camping or emergencies
What I love about this stove is the fact that it is so cheap and it can be used with various "fuels." Do note that the fuel tabs included do have a little bit of an odor and will leave some soot on the underside of what you cook in. That said, I was able to get 1.5 cups of water to a boil in under 5 minutes using my MSR aluminum cooking pot with 3 fuel tabs, and there was fuel left over. I was able to heat up water using their "fire sticks", although there was some soot left behind on the underside of my pot from doing that. That's the fuel being used in the photo. For $10, this is worth keeping in your car or a closet in the event of an emergency if you need to boil water or heat food or want a cheap entry-level stove for getting into camping.

Works great with alcohol stove
One should know that the included burner tabs are limited in their use I boiled about a cup of water using three of them it did bring it to a rowing boil before they ended it is best to use additional pot fans to enhance the performance however what I did find is that if one uses an altoids-based alcohol stove inside the stove itself it will boil water and also act as a windscreen fantastic application. If one is looking for means to create set of alcohol stove The YouTube channel waypoint survival has excellent videos and examples of how to make an alcohol stove. Bruce may have a different opinion I think for $6 this was an absolute steal

Yes and No..
We tried to use it as directed to heat water in a kettle...pot did not sit even, was shaky.. not good for sturdiness/safety.. No easy way to keep adding fuel source, as flame does not last long with white fuel source offered with item..just have to keep lifting pot off of the "stove".. We attempted to add little wood sticks to make fire warmer/higher/last longer..this did work better..but no catch for ashes, so we made sure to put foil under it first, to have a safe burning area..but still had to keep lifting pot off to add fuel source PROS White fuel bits are great fire starters Works ok for little campfire mode Good for a pinch if you have nothing else CONS Not very durable or steady with a pan/pot on it Cant use other fuel sources with it, like gel fuel or bio fuel, flame goes out,so left using sources that leave a mess below the cooker, with no "catcher" for debris (so we used aluminum foil to catch burn off No easy access, while cooking ,to add more fuel source to keep fire going Not bad-but not great Doable if you have nothing else, or want to cook marshmallows or hot dogs, or anything on a stick, but not my first go-to choice for a hiking/camping stove.

I purchased this to be able to heat water in an emergency situation. It's very compact, so it doesn't take up a lot of space in an emergency kit. The solid fuel is also compact and easy to store. I feel more comfortable with that in my apartment than I would propane or other fuels. Hurricane Fiona gave me the opportunity to test it. The set up was easy. I used a lightweight pot with a tight fitting lid and ensured it was sheltered from wind (used it outdoors on my balcony). I had boiling water in 8 minutes with one fuel pod. Good for a cup of coffee or some instant noodles. The flame can be a bit high to start, but it wasn't problematic (just keep flammable objects away from the stove). It did blacken the bottom of my pot, but that washed off no problem. When the pod was extinguished, it left no residue. I was impressed with its performance. To be clear, this won't be the solution for everyone and you have to consider how you intend to use it and how big your family is to know whether it's the right option for you. For me, it was great. Very happy with this purchase.

Serves the purpose, which is use as light weight stove for camping or emergencies. Light for BOB, would say it's OK.
