Excellent for small spaces
The AC is relatively quiet, no louder than a fan. It appears to be sturdy and well built. It cools small rooms very quickly and efficiently. The hose isn't particularly long but still works well in small spaces. During the hot weather it has kept the room cool and comfortable both during the day and at night. Very small and light so easy to move between rooms if you need to.

Noisy but works
The unit is pretty heavy at 18kgs but I think that’s normal for AC units. It’s noisy to the extent it makes TV viewing awkward, I don’t think I could sleep with it on in the room. The hose is only just long enough to be useful, another metre would make all the difference. Had to make my own adaptor for a fairly standard top hinged small window. So when it’s really hot like two days last week it was pleasant to sit in a room and cool off and for the price it was reasonable but it’s going to spend of time stood idle.

Helped A Lot In The Hot Months
Now that summer is over and I have used this device for at least 4 months I will tell you my experiences with it.Firstly the size was accurate. The dimensions on the listing were exactly the dimensions of the device, this was important to me as it was going in a room where I don't have a lot of room for it. The weight was accurate, so it is not a small and light appliance but they tell you this. When the weather started getting hot I hoped that this £200 outlay was going to be worth it and I hoped it wasn't going to turn into an expensive pedestal. What a difference it makes. Even on fan mode, it sucks out all the hot air and cools the room. The room it is in is a ground floor sun facing room. So what this means is that when I go to work the windows have to be shut and the room bakes. I would get back put the pipe out the window and start this device and instantly it would start working. I could get the room down from 30 - 35 plus degrees to about 22 degrees in half an hour. The air coming out the exhaust pipe outside shocked me at how hot it was.During the heat waves of the summer I was lovely and cool. The self evaporation of this unit works. In four months of constant use I have not had to drain it once. I have another air con unit by another brand and I have to drain it regularly .Noise wise it is comparable to a loud fan. For me this is not an issue I can sleep with it on. Maybe others would have an issue with it but it isn't a problem for me.I am very happy with this device and it has made a huge difference. I don't have to feel like I am walking into an oven during the summer months.

Good for the price
Works really well , quickly reduces room temperature. Would have liked a little more cooling power and that is the only reason i gave 4 and not 5 star review. Good but not outstanding. Was the cheapest unit I could find. I'm happy with my purchase.

Restricted on use
The unit is nice and compact easy to store BUTThe outlet pipe is rather cumbersome it could have been smaller in diameter a lot longer in length and more flexible I was very restricted to where I could use it as it was only long enough to go out of one window and with the pipe being on the short side I could not have it in the middle of my lounge where I wanted it to be. It is quite noisy when it's on the high setting, remote works ok I haven't tried it on the sleep mode. I'm not overly impressed with it but this is just my opinion other people might find it great l wouldn't recommend it

Works, if you're willing to pay
It will keep a bedroom cool in the summer, but it needs to run alot. It's not the quietest but otherwise is ok for what it is just expensive to run.
