Bodum Bistro Blade Grinder, Electric Blade Coffee Grinder, Black

This is a great little grinder. It's easy to use & very easy to clean. I was initially concerned because most grinders state that they're for 2 or more cups at a time whereas I only ever make one. But that's not a problem with the Bodem since you can set the grinder for as little as 5 seconds which is about right for the amount of beans I use per cup. To set the fineness of the grain is simply a process of twisting the hopper round to the graduated mark. To clean the stainless steel burrs is easy - just remove the hopper, lift out the upper burr and brush out. I've heard it said that static is a problem but if you just grab a handful of beans in a slightly wet hand when you load the hopper the static disapears and doesn't return. Overall I would highly recommend this grinder, it's very reasonably priced, grinds well and cleans easily, doesn't make a great deal of noise and looks quite stylish. Excellent grinder & compares very well with other far more expensive models.

Did not know that it was continental voltage and I had to purchase an adapter. Neverless a good deign and it works well.

Arrived in just a plastic bag, so that the item’s box was battered. It had a foreign (US?) plug on it. Returning it and will try and get one with a UK plug

Fortunately this had to be returned as the 2 pin plug wasn’t compatible with UK sockets.

The acquired coffee grinder produced smoke and burning smell on the very first use of it. The second time it simply doesn't switch on.

カッター式電動コーヒーミルで、国内で販売されている至って普通の2000円台のものと機能は同じです。 粉挽きの配分は自分でボタンの押し時間を調整して行いますが、細かい調整はほぼ無理です。 このタイプは仕方ないのですですが、使用後に付着した粉は拭き取るか、ハケなどで掃除する必要がありますが、大して時間の掛かる作業でも無いですので、負担にはならないと思います。 一点メリットをあげるなら表面がラバーで覆われているため、静音性は他のメーカーのものより若干静かです。 ただこれとは引き換えにデメリットは、その分サイズがかなり大きく、コンパクト性を求めている方には向きません。 若干でも静音性を求める方には良いと思います。 ※サイズ感は350mlの缶ビールとの比較画像をアップしましたので、ご参考のしてください。

Like most Bodum products I've used, this is a super functional, stylish piece of equipment. We've had it for a year now I think. We grind our own beans in the morning. I find it works best to grind it for just 2-3 seconds at a time, pushing the button down maybe 5-10 times total to get the right consistency for a french press. We bought the white which is starting to get coffee stains as I expected it would, but I mean, it's white. I still think it's the best looking one, but, if you want it to stay looking super clean I'd get the black--you can't see the stains! Great product, thanks Bodum.
