This little guy is perfect for what I needed it for. I have a medium size inflatable pool that I bought for my son. We have well water which is very cold coming out of the hose. I also refill the pool every few days to keep it clean. We have a solar cover that also helps heat the pool and together they can bring the temp from 63 to 98 in a few hours with sunlight. Now I will say to make sure you don't submerge the entire thing in water. It's meant to go down the full length of the metal rod without submerging the top portion. I did accidently submerge it fully a few times and all that happened was it tripped my outlet. After resetting it worked just fine. Also note if you have an above ground pool or bigger I would look elsewhere. I'm not saying it won't heat your pool but I would expect it to take a full week to heat a few degrees. Either that or you would need multiple of these. I would suggest looking at solar options or paying for an actual pool heater. Overall for medium inflatable pools and below I would recommend.

Heats our bathtub to awesome temperatures and thaws a 55gallon drum of water with about three inches of ice on the sides and at least 5 inches on top in a few hours. In other words it works great and we will rebuy when our current one has heated its last tub.

I ordered hoping the positive reviews were true...they were not! I read all the instructions and followed them. I immersed this in a pool about 2 feet deep and plugged it in. It initially worked and the little red light came on and after a couple hours the temp went up a few degrees...then the circuit breaker tripped! With the circuit breaker re-set, i tried to get it to heat, but it would never even get warm. There is a rusty spot on the bottom of the pool where it died and there is rust and calcium on the element and heater. Only lasted a few hours. It is being returned. Would not recommend.

I got this heater for my inflatable hot tub. The heat stopped working in my hot tub. Everything works, the heat just stopped and it use to get to 105°f when I put the submergible water heater and pulgged it in, it got to work immediately. In about 3 hrs, it had a 300 gal inflatable hot tub to 110°f!!! I was blown away and so happy I didn't have to throw my expensive hot tub away thanks to this lil heater!! I can't thank y'all enough for this product!

I like the concept of adding this to bath water to keep it hot. However, if you have old electrical expect a different experience. This water heater tripped every outlet I plugged it into, and only got to work running an extension cord to the most updated outlet. It seemed dangerous considering how warm all the outlets and cords became after use. I am really surprised they allow this product for home use considering the product is a water heater element sheathed by a steel tube. The thermometer that comes with it is very accurate. Overall, supervision is required when using product, and expect trips to the electrical box.

This is a small and mighty heater. It lasted for one entire summer to warm our pool and then the second summer, it only lasted a couple weeks before it blew a fuse and quick working all together. I started by using it in buckets to heat water, but that took too much time. I then placed it in the 10x3' pool early in the morning (6am) and took it out 6- 7 hours later (when kids were ready to swim) and it typically warmed the pool about a degree an hour. Basically from 75-83 depending on the daily temp (we are in Oregon). When I got a 2nd one and had them both in the pool, it warmed much more efficiently and quicker. Make sure to have strict rules of use if you have kids as you can NOT be in the pool if these are in it. We had strict routine of where to unplug them and a bucket system near the pool with water in it to set them in as the cooled off. Even though both only lasted a year, I feel they were worth it as the kids played for significantly more time when the water was warmer and I found myself jumping in too! We got hours of play time daily in the warmer pool. No more kids with blue lips and only lasting 20 minutes! I am grabbing 2 more for this year since they both broke.

I bought this unit as a extra heating element for my salspa that faults all the time! I used this little buddy and In 3 hours my hot tub was at 104 degrees hot asl! Don’t think about it buy it! Update ok I just learned it will catch fire if taken out of water without unplugging! So always unplug prior to removing from water! I just ordered a new one! It caught fire in three minutes exact!

This thing is the best thing since sliced bread. My baths never get cold! Reminds me of the firy pits of hell 🥰

El producto cumple con lo que promete. Solo el termometro es de muy baja calidad, no trae para cambiar a grados centigrados, aunque en la caja dice que si lo soporta, lo demás esta bien
